Works great. Easy installation. Put on a patio screen door, holds against the strongest winds (and snow).

I had no issues with this pair of magnetic door catches. I had placed flooring in my attic and cut a hole in a partition wall so I could easily access both sides of my attic. I built a door and needed a way to keep it shut yet be able to easily open it from both side so these magnetic catches worked great. The door shuts tightly but I can open same from both sides of the attic space. It was easy to install after I figured out how to line them up.

It advertises as 150lb. I installed a previous set "Mousike Magnetic Door Catch Heavy Duty 90lb". They held for a second then lifted off. I told my client no problem I'm going to order 150 lbs ones and get them overnight and fixing the problem I'm leaving you with Until the next day. They said OK no problem. I showed up with these almost twice as strong - as advertised. They are the same size so I use the same holes And they align perfectly. That made me nervous. I pulled down the Hatch cover made sure both magnets attached squarely. The hatch has a lifting mechanism. I let go of it and it lifted exactly the same as the 90 lb set. Boy was I embarrassed. I'm not going to but can I sue for false advertising and the embarrassment I got for believing them.

On the plus side, easy enough to install. On the downside, one of the pulls was scuffed as if it had been used before and that should have been my first clue. I had 60 lb door magnets by another brand already installed on my hall French doors. However, I added a new dog to the mix and she can pop them open. I decided to upgrade to these 150 lb magnets. Even after fiddling with and adjusting the new magnets, they do not seem to be any stronger than the ones I replaced. Jury is still out on whether they are even as strong as the 60s. I’m leaving them in place for a day or two to see how they fare with the dog. I suspect I’ll be going back to the 60 lb I purchased. Very disappointing.
