Should you buy - Absolutely Should you fit the fan on your own - May be or preferably call a good electrician. Remember, you need to disconnect the previous regulator from this BLDC fan. Does it last long - May not be as the normal (induction motor) fans work. This is a PCB (electronic - Chip based) based device and need to be handled well and then it could last longer. The normal fans also degrade in functionality over time. Does the fan rattle or create sound - Absolutely not if fitted well. Remote Functions - Best part is it has timer and you could use it to save electricity. (One use case - Want to get up early and leave bed for jogging, fan can be a big problem. Set a timer and make sure that fan stops half an hour before you want to get up and the inertia of getting from bed will be lower) Expensive - Slightly but comes with convenience. Airflow - Absolutely amazing Extended Warranty - I did buy as this is a PCB based device and extra Rs. 400 would give me peace of mind for 2 years. This is optional. Looks - Rich and premium. I preferred white / Ivory as all the fans at home are white. Lastly, remember that the pin provided by Havells is inserted in the screws (applies to all fans) while installing. Else it might fall down.

⭐☆☆☆☆ The Havells FAB BLDC Ceiling Fan turned out to be a complete disappointment. The fan stopped working, and what followed was an even worse experience with Havells' customer support. The most shocking part was the disrespectful behaviour of the customer service team. When elderly family members contacted customer support to enquire about the warranty and seek assistance, the agents were laughing instead of helping them. Watching senior citizens be treated with such disregard and disrespect was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. Customers contact support expecting solutions and basic courtesy, not to be mocked while trying to resolve a genuine issue. To make matters worse, we have been waiting for replacement parts for several months with no resolution. The mechanic assigned to the case doesn't even know when the required parts will be available. There has been no clear communication, no accountability, and no sense of urgency from Havells despite repeated follow-ups. A faulty product can sometimes be forgiven if a company stands behind it and supports its customers. Unfortunately, the combination of a non-working fan, months of delays, and the disrespectful treatment of elderly customers has made this one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had. Completely waste of money. Avoid if you value reliable after-sales support and respectful customer service.

Product is okay, working as per discription, Airflow also good, Remote also working as expected, only one issue is of power goes and come fan starting automatically which is a bug.

Very good fan. As good or better than Atomberg. Atomberg’s remote is much better. But that’s not a big deal. Go for it. Also has reverse mode though I don’t know how much it helps as the fan rotates quite slowly on that mode.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality and service from Havells. I purchased a total of 4 FAB BLDC ceiling fans, and my experience has been very frustrating. Two of the fans had issues right from the start. One fan did not work at all upon installation (around 7 April), and a Havells electrician had to visit and replace a component in a brand new fan — which is completely unacceptable. The second fan worked initially but stopped functioning within just a couple of days. The third fan is still working as of now, but given my experience so far, I am not very confident about how long it will last. The fourth fan was a complete disaster — instead of a ceiling fan, I was sent a table fan. Since there was no immediate resolution and I needed to complete the installation work, I placed another order. Surprisingly, even that order resulted in receiving a table fan again instead of the ceiling fan. One of these issues has been resolved today through a refund, but the other is still pending, and there has been no proper closure yet. This level of poor quality control, repeated delivery mistakes, and delayed response is very disappointing, especially from a reputed brand like Havells. I sincerely hope someone from the company notices this and takes responsibility to resolve the pending issue quickly or replace the defective units with properly functioning fans. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing this product.
