ZKIRON Safety Hand Guard and Food Holder for Mandoline Slicers

I was skeptical looking at Amazon description/pictures and at the low price. Didn't particularly look like a quality item. But price was too good to not give it a try: I was pretty sure I would be returning it. However, so far so good: it really does the job of protecting fingers and provides a good grip on vegetable or fruit when grating.

I bought this to help me grate cheese on a grader and protect fingers from cuts. I have used several times and it does the job well. Only one drawback was the jaws don't open very wide so you do have to cut the blocks fairly small. Approved by RRSE, Your Retired Rocket Scientist Engineer!

The concept of this is good but it’s too small and flimsy for the job. It didn’t fit around the block of cheese without cutting it down. My fingers were still gripping too close to the grater. I would not purchase this again.

Where has this been my whole life!!? You can use a mandolin without cutting yourself. So simple to use. You need this if you use a mandolin. Don’t delay

waste of money

I will be honest when it arrived I didnt think it was any good. But I've used it a couple times now first time was the hardest, but it worked great even better than the one my mandalin came with. I love it. Definitely would recommend it.

Works great with our slicer. I am always so scared I will slice a finger tip with our ceramic blade food slicer. This solves that problem, grips food firmly and now I don't worry about cut fingers.

Doesn't really protect your knuckles at all

Fait exactement ce pourquoi il a été acheté : protéger mes doigts lors de l'utilisation de la râpe. Et il le fait bien, permettant plusieurs prise de l'aliment à raper. Reste à connaître la durabilité.
