In my experience they never lasted anywhere near 9 hours. I would say closer to 2-3. They start out very hot and then you kind of forget they’re there. Used them hunting when temperatures were between 0-20 F and they kept me warm. Only “issue” I had with them was sometimes they would bunch up and I would be walking on an uncomfortable lump.
