Al ser principiante en mi cocina esta ha sido una excelente compra, mientras preparo el platillo principal se prepara en automático el arroz. Me encantó

Very good item. Maybe not the quickest, but produces very good rice, Nice price point for size, volume, especially compared with most others in its class.

Pros: Simple to use, construction is good. Easy to clean. Rice is well cooked. Price was very good. Silent. Cons: The vapor/water outside holder is not staying after some months of use (see picture). Some times it says “6 minutes” to finish but it stays for 10 or more without changing “6min”. This was known before buying, but parts aren’t dishwasher safe.

Many rice cookers have a single button to start the cooking process that, like a toaster, pops up to warm after cooking. These are great for cooking bulk white rice from a bag. Once you get into wild rice and different grains you will find that this method does not always give you the best results, temperature and time are critical, and more control is needed even to the point where you can cook certain rice better in a pot on the stove. This should not happen, and it happens only because your rice cooker can not compensate for different cooking cycles. This cooker has enough settings that I can get perfect rice no matter what I put in it and for me that matters. As far as functionality, this is the best rice cooker I have ever tried and I have been using them for many years. * And always keep the bottom of the lid (the seal) as clean as possible on any rice cooker.
