I'm not sure about this thing. Specs show that the left burner can output 1800w. Right side 1300w max. 1800w total max output, meaning if right is set to 1300w left can only be 500w. Problem is I can only get the left side to draw 680-700w in power from the wall even set to 1800. Same for right side set to 1300w. On top of that if you set either burner to say 500w it will draw about 400w or 100w less then it states per side. I'm guessing after lesser into the pan and from other losses your only getting maybe 500w max from the left burner at max setting. I'm having trouble boiling 3/4 gallon of water at max setting. My cookware used is Gotham induction ready copper colored set. Other problem??? When the unit is plugged in but turned off it shows as a 7% power draw on my 3000w inverters display, but 4w on the killawatt meter. So is the power draw really dirty and confusing my inverter? Used this unit for about a month now daily. Run it from a pure wave 3000w inverter and from shore power. Weird power draws on both sources. Video coming soon on it. It does cook food. I do love the idea and way it works, bit unsure if my unit is working correctly or not.

It seems lots of folks writing reviews are first time induction cooktop users. Yes it boils water quickly. Who cares? Once you get over watching a pot boil, you will find all of these cheap induction cooktops are the same with different packaging and basically useless for actual cooking. The beauty of induction is not that it boils water quickly. It's that you can have precise temperature control. These units do not allow for precision control. They have hot spots. The "ten power settings" are meaningless unless you want to cook everything between 375 and 500 degrees (spoiler: you don't). Despite having a large circle for the burner, the element is only about 6" wide. In order to get even heating on a 10" skillet (standard size cast iron), you need a 10" element. Also, by dividing the power across burners, it means you get less from each. Now, not only does it take ages to boil water (which you all seem fascinated by), but you also have limited temperature control! Brilliant! /s I've opted instead to buy 2 NuWave PIC Gold cooktops. They unfortunately do not recess in to the counter without some creative carpentry, but at least I can sear a steak on one and simmer a stew on the other. At the same time. Without want to gouge out my eyes.
