Deserves all the plaudits! Best recipes for incorporating ALL nutritional essentials
I have a personal 50 year collection of cookbooks and this is the best one I have ever bought, it has re-inspired me. My very fussy adult daughter has enjoyed everything we've tried so far and it is all SO healthy. I know I may be going to come off as a bit of a zealot but this is a seriously good book and Dr A deserves all the plaudits for putting it together. The meals are incredibly well balanced and having tried several I totally trust that the recipes are going to work, i.e. I have never cooked with fresh Dill and a whole packet was in one of the recipes but it was delicious, we were shocked at how good it was. Tofu, in various forms is used as part of the protein component in several recipes, we tried it, it totally worked and we loved it! Not all 'Tofu' is the same so for those who are unfamiliar with Tofu (like me) some supermarkets only stock the Silken tofu which may not be what is needed so watch out for that. Also, I read that once oil is added to a marinade it seals the tofu and it won't then absorb flavours so well. I don't know how accurate that is but may be worth considering to avoid spoiling any Tofu experiments which may put you off it as a result. It seems tofu appreciation is all about using the right type/cooking methods and flavouring, I urge you to give it a go, your health will benefit. Personal preferences aside i.e aversion to red peppers/fresh coriander, my only proviso is that although the spices are part of what makes these meals so nutritionally powerful you may want to adjust quantities to suite your palate. I believe the recipes are designed around the latest nutrition research and TBH if you're looking to improve your overall health then this may be the only book you need. Check out Dr A's website there are some very informative vlogs which go through all the latest research. There is also access to some of the recipes to give you an idea of what this book has to offer. For anyone who is navigating trying to eat, at all, while taking a GLP-1 medication, these recipes will help you get the essential nutrients, especially the fibre!

Dr Rupy’s best book so far
I wasn’t expecting the book to contain so much content and recipes, but I should’ve known better considering Dr Rupy’s previous books. And this is by far his best book to date. Dr Rupy explains the importance of protein going beyond just muscle repair. He shares 3 core pillars to use for building a healthy high protein plate; in all my struggles of knowing whether I’m eating well, this bit of guideline has pieced all of it together for me. The book has been put together so well. The content in the book is evidence based and all the pictures are beautiful! There are lots of tasty looking recipes for food and drink. So far, I’ve tried the salmon tikka bowl; it was as delicious as it looks. My copy of the book arrived with a bit of damage to the front and back cover, so I’m exchanging it. However, this doesn’t detract from the quality of the book and it would be unfair to give it anything less than the 5 stars it deserves.

Awesome recipe book full of healthy, simple, easy recipes with great introductory information!
Awesome! This book is so good, that I had to buy one for my mum too. Loads of great healthy recipes that look pretty simple and quick to make, perfect for new meal ideas. The introductory info is extremely useful too. I follow Dr Rupy's podcast and am signed up to his newsletter, I've learnt so much and it's great to have a trustworthy source for information on so many health and lifestyle topics, I suggest him to all my friends and family - thanks Rupy! :)

Brilliant recipes, not so good recipe index
This is a really fabulous cook book and I’ve made absolutely loads of recipes. The book would be even better if the index was more comprehensive- for example if you have a key ingredient (eg salmon)and you want to find a recipe that uses it, you can’t just look up all the ‘salmon’ based recipes in the index - I didn’t realise how often I use this function in other recipe books until it was missing in this one! I hope Dr Rupy produces more cook books as I’ve really enjoyed this one!

Not a fan of this book, but..
Still a fan of Dr Aujla. What I love about his books are the fact that the science takes center stage. There are abundant references to scientific research and studies that evidence that the nutritional information is sound. In a time where you get slapped silly with detox teas and cutting out entire food groups, it's a refreshing alternative. I omitted two stars: 1 because the recipes here didn't appeal to me as much as on the website other books, with many ingredients listed that I cannot source where I am based. And 1 because the nutritional data per recipe was listed at the end of the book. While I appreciate that nutrition is more than just calories, I am eating in a slight deficit, and to get excited about a recipe and to see that it's an 700 kcal breakfast (for example) is disheartening. And I just find having to leaf between the two sections annoying.

A lot of tofu in that book
I like him on social media, but there is too much tofu in that book. No meat, no poultry. Healthy, ok.
