My baby is a young infant so hard to say for sure. On the headrest on a rear facing car seat, I would say probably not.

Does this mirror work for the center seat? That’s where I placed the car seat adapter and car seat.

It works for the center seat as long as you have some kind of headrest for it to attach to. I suppose you could create your own kind of platform that hangs down to attach the mirror if you do not have a headrest.
