Going Out (Board Book, Sign Language) (Sign about)

I have 2 others of the same book, different content. I love the fact that these are board books. They are wonderfully illustrated and have tons of very good and useful signs. My daughter knows over 60 signs and she loves each of these books equally. I wish all the signing books were board books made this well with great illustrations!

I have several books in this series. We love the artwork, clarity of images/instructions and variety of useful signs. Just wish there was a table of contents or index for easy reference, but the books are short enough that it's not a major hindrance.

Great book to introduce sign language skills to kids and parents. My 5 and 10 year find them interesting

I have a daughter that was born hearing impaired. She is now 3 yrs. old. I purchased this book and others like it in order to learn simple sign and to also teach it to her. This book does a wonderful job of both describing and illustrating each and every sign in context. Of all the sign books I have purchased this ranks in the top five. It is a must have.

it is a very nice book with many useful signs and pictures to talk about with your child. when my son was a baby we used sign language with him and this book was one of his favorite. he is 4 now but still likes to go over this book from time to time.

My nephew is 3 and non verbal, he has downs syndrome and is deaf and needs glasses, he cannot wear both glasses and his hearing aid band at the same time because the glasses cause the aid to whistle. I am able to sign makaton, and we are all encouraging makaton use to start with to help him communicate. He loves this book, I thought it was good to help the grown ups around him too learn some core signs about things they are likely to go do or see.

Great book. We haven't gotten into it too much yet but I love that it teaches me and teaches my son in a fun way.

Absolutely amazing. Good quality of the books too, will last long time even when kids are bot careful. I really love the simple explanations. We did not try with baby yet, but I think it will be super helpfull for the whole family as grandparents dont speak the same language...so we probably use a lot.

Not ASL but BSL as used in Great Britain

Have been signing with our toddler from about 4 months old. Despite health problems he is the most chilled out little lad and I'm sure that is partly due to the fact that he can communicate with us through signing. Obviously, we do misread his signs at times ('baby', 'more' and 'biscuit' look so similar when our son signs them) but he persists until we understand.Would highly recommend these books for families. There are several topics available.
