How do you know your ingredients, especially pea protien is not contaminated with the round up chemical or heavy metals? as they sometimes are.

Our product is certified USDA Organic, which means all ingredients are grown or produced with no synthetic herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers, including RoundUp. We went through a detailed vetting process with the USDA to ensure this was true for each ingredient, all the way back to the farm, before they awarded us the certification. In regards to heavy metals, our suppliers test each batch for heavy metals before sending us the ingredients. These suppliers meet the highest US food safety and quality standards, including our pea protein supplier. The ingredients are then tested again for heavy metals at the manufacturing facility before production.
