Finally! Something a bit different then the tons of gawdy plastic iPhone covers. I have a Kavaj case for my iPad air and I love it so much. I was hoping I would have the same luck with the 6+ case and so far I am not dissapointed.The leather is a bit distressed and it has a great classy look. The stitching is strong. The fit on the phone is perfect. The 6+ snaps into the case tightly, just the same as a well built molded plastic case.The edges raise above the iPhone screen just a bit so I can place my phone face down on a surface without fear of damage. Probably the best feature of this case is all the buttons, inputs and outputs are exposed so there is no restriction in sound and the power and volume buttons are excessable and work as sensitive as if I had no case on the phone at all.Surprisingly, this case is very slim and adds almost nothing as far as bulk to the phone. I keep my phone in my front pocket so a slim case is important to me. When I received my new 6+, the Kavaj cases were not out yet, so I bought the thinnest plastic case I could find on Amazon while I waited. The new Kavaj case appears to be no thicker. The card pockets on the back I probably will not use. They don’t add hardly any thickness to the case, but I would have prefered an option without the pockets if one had been presented to me. It also smells like leather (it’s the simple things in life that make me happy).I'm not sure how well this case would protect my phone from a 6 foot drop on concrete, and Im not about to find out. I know this is not a thick plastic lifeproof case, but it is perfect for my needs and I know it will protect my phone the way I use it and care for it.I have been a big fan of Kavaj for a while. Their customer service is top notch and they really stand behind their product.

Update 10/2016:I still love this case. I have now bought 4 of these total. The company seems to have fixed the left corner breaking issue as that has not happening to either of my previous two cases now, so great work, Kavaj! I am leaving the rating at a 4 because I think a 4 star rating will do the most good for both the company and any potential customer. Why? A 5 star rating never tells the whole story in my opinion. A 4 star rating at least allows me to tell everyone I LOVE the case but it also manages expectations for a potential customer. This case lasts longer and longer with each new case I've ordered...which means this company cares about it's product and is constantly improving. It looks amazing. It's not bulky. You will reorder. BUT it won't last as long as a straight plastic case...and I think that some potential customers would expect that. I don't. I love mine and I've sold 5 or 6 of my friends and family on them and they keep reordering as well. Fantastic work, Kavaj. If a 4.9 star rating were possible that's where I'd be.Original Review:I LOVE THIS CASE! I have now bought three...which is a testament to how much I love it but also the reason for 4 stars rather than 5. The top left corner is always the first part to break which sucks...but over time I have noticed a change in material and an improvement in lifespan. If they can figure out that blasted left upper corner they'll get a 5 stars. Having said that, that small problem won't keep me from re ordering. To be fair my last case lasted about 8 or 9 months with HEAVY use so it's not bad at all. Everything else about this case is amazing. I actually think I have 4 friends who now exclusively use this case because of me. Highly recommended...but lets fix that corner and maybe even increase the price when you do to reflect the better quality.

This case is fantastic and fits wonderfully for the iphone 6 plus. I have the Kavaj "berlin" for the ipad and decided to give this case a try since I liked my ipad case so much. I was not disappointed. Case is extremely light and adds hardly no bulk to the size of the already big iphone 6 plus. It also appears to have enough lip to protect the screen when placed face down. I did not buy this case to store any cards in but it would work nicely if need be. The leather feels very nice and good attention to detail. For background I had the Apple leather case for the iphone 6 plus for about one day deciding that it was extremely overpriced and this case beats it hands down with about $20 less of a price. I would not hesitate to recommend this case. Love the cognac color which suits the black face of the 6+ nicely. This case is a definite keeper.If I had to point out one thing is that the upper left corner doesnt appear to go as far up as the other corners. Could be just my case or could be the design but I still believe it will protect the screen when face down.

I challenge anyone who has written a five star review six months ago, to write a new review being honest about this product. I'm attaching pictures to support my true opinion on this product. I have not even owned this case for a year and it was disappointing after three months. It was a great purchase, at first, and the company was good about warning consumers about wear-and-tear, even possible discoloration or scratches on the natural leather. What they fail to mention, is that the frequent use of our phones will discolor the case so rapidly, its original "cognac" color is almost unrecognizable! And the pockets? Well, don't plan on using them too long, because as expected with natural leather, once you put more than one credit card in a slot, the leather loosens with each push/pull so much so that the cards eventually fall out. Also, the design of the case doesn't allow for much protection along the top and bottom of the phone. Not long after I got the case (purchased in March 2016), I dropped the phone and it acquired a large deep gash at the top of my phone. A clear picture is attached. So what good is the case if it doesn't even serve the basic purpose of protecting your phone? And as you can see from the attached pictures, the leather is actually peeling off the plastic base of the phone! UN.BE.LIVE.A-BLE! Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.
