976341 Gas PTFE Thread Seal Tape 10pk 12 mm x 5m , White

At less than a pound a roll, you can't really complain; and I have not a single reason to do so.This tape is at least twice as thick as the stuff I've been using, so only need half as much to get a good seal... Plus, it stretches very well too if you need a thinner wrapping. It's a little tacky too so doesn't slip off so easily when wrapping the thread.I've just used it to renew all my airline connections and couplings (20 odd) as I had a few small leaks and I've not needed to over-tighten any of them. It seals very well and ten rolls should keep me going for a good while yet.

Tested with soapy spray after application and there was no gas leak through the thread. It does what it claims to. I suspect this quantity will last me for life.

Not much of a review because I bought this batch of PTFE tapes to replace several I have previously bought and lost. I swear the dogs are eating them because now this whole new batch of ten has disappeared as well, before even being opened! I thought this disappearing trick only applied to measuring tapes but now I know there is a Bermuda triangle lurking around here some place...

I’ve bought quite abit of this over the years. This last lot I ordered was not the Dickie Dyer tape, but some cheap rubbish ptfe tape that was nowhere near as good as what I’ve had before. If you get the Dickie Duer tape, fantastic, it’s really good stuff. If not it’s pure rubbish and a pain to try and contact the seller to return.
