Elvive Hyaluron + Pure Oil Erasing Scalp Serum with Salicylic Acid For Oily Hair, 3.45 Fl Oz

As someone with fine hair but a lot of it, I was on the hunt for a product that would make wash day easier and actually help remove oils and buildup so my blowouts could last longer. My hair tends to get oily a few days after washing, and I wanted something that would deeply cleanse my scalp without drying my hair out. As a cosmetologist, I’m pretty picky about hair products, but L’Oréal has always been one of my go-to budget-friendly brands, and I already use quite a few of their products. This scalp serum is honestly amazing. I use it exactly as directed — applying it right before I get in the shower, letting it sit for a few minutes, and then washing it out. My scalp feels so refreshed and clean afterward without feeling stripped or irritated. I also noticed my hair stays fresher longer, and my blowouts definitely last longer before my roots start looking oily again. The formula is super lightweight and breathable. You can barely feel it on your scalp, which I actually love because it doesn’t leave behind any greasy or heavy feeling. Because of how lightweight it is, a little goes a long way, so be careful not to overapply. One of my favorite things is how soft my hair feels afterward. Some clarifying or oil-control products can leave hair feeling dry, tangled, or rough, but this leaves my hair soft, clean, and moisturized without weighing it down. It also helped with frizz control, especially around my roots after blow drying, which was a nice surprise. The fragrance is another plus. It has a light, fresh floral scent that smells clean and salon-like without being overpowering. It leaves your hair smelling fresh after styling while still feeling lightweight. I also have somewhat sensitive skin and didn’t experience any scalp irritation, itching, or dryness while using this product. The bottle size isn’t huge, but in my opinion it’s absolutely worth it for both the quality and the price. A little product goes a long way, and for a drugstore scalp serum, the performance genuinely impressed me. If you struggle with oily roots, buildup, or want your hairstyle to last longer between washes, I definitely recommend trying this.

I have finally found the product that makes a difference in my hair. I have thick long hair that gets oily pretty quickly. I switched to the L’Oréal elvive pure shampoo and conditioner after using only salon grade products for 15 years. My hair was left extremely soft and smelling good but I wanted the extra oil control. When I use this I can get at least one extra day of clean hair in the hot humid summer air which is huge. I imagine it will be even more in the cooler months. It’s easy to apply with the attached nozzle. Smell can be a bit strong if you’re sensitive but I don’t notice any lingering smell once washed out. Will definitely be repurchasing especially at the great price value.

Love this. It works so well, smells wonderful, washes out easily, and makes my hair feel so fresh. Only thing to note is if you have thick hair, you’ll go through this product pretty quickly as it is very watery and the bottle is pretty small.

I've had issues with dandruff since middle school and basically every product ive used has only offered me temporary relief. This serum however, worked like MAGIC for my dandruff. I'm not joking when I say my danruff issues disappeared after ONE use. I started out using it 2-3 times a week and now use it once every other week. How I use it: I apply a medium amount all over my scalp, focusing on dandruff hotspots and massage it in about 15-20 mins before a shower. Then wash my hair with a standard anti-dandruff shampoo. It washes away pretty easily; in fact its light enough that you wouldn't feel it a minute after application. Its literally changed my wardrobe as now I actually wear dark colored clothes without worrying about flakes! Here's a picture of my hair. Not a single flake and I last used the product one week ago!

This has done wonders for my daughters hair. She tends to be very greasy at the roots and dry at the ends, but had to wash daily to clear the grease from the top. This has been very helpful to bust the grease at the top and clarify buildup on her scalp. This product in combination with dry shampoo has helped to bring her from being a daily hair washer to an every other day, or sometimes even every three day washer! So happy with this and will keep purchasing!

Smells excellent! I bought it for reducing sebum on my scalp. Hoping it’s like Celladix for scalp health lol.

Helps with itchy scalp, it’s suppose to progeny excess hair fall out. I think it helps!
