Great sealer for my basement floor! A little goes a long way, no harsh smells and dried clear. Just what I wanted

I have purchased this 3 times so far. While it is expensive for the amount you get, it does work. It provides a lovely gloss finish. I use it to coat the inside and outside of my cement candle vessels. I apply four coats to the inside and outside of the jar, and one coat to the very bottom. I was able to coat 100 candle jars this way with one bottle, using a round foam brush I purchased from a local big box craft store. I use the Boowan Nicole 9oz mold and the Modern Craft Labs tulip mold. I have not had any issues with the wax leaking through.

I wanted to leave an honest review for other makers like myself based on my real experience using Sienna Studio Acrylic Sealer for my candle vessels. I purchased this product because it is heavily marketed toward candle vessels, Jesmonite, concrete, and porous cast materials, and the pricing reflects what appears to be a premium, professional grade sealer. Unfortunately, my experience did not match the marketing hype or price point. Even after applying multiple thin coats exactly as recommended, I still experienced wax and fragrance oil leakage over time. For a product specifically promoted for candle vessels, this was extremely disappointing. The finish looks nice aesthetically at first, but performance wise, it did not provide noticeably better protection than many other much less expensive sealers currently available on the market. I also reached out directly through the company’s website months ago seeking support and guidance regarding the leakage issue and never received a response. Lack of customer support only added to the frustration, especially after investing a significant amount of money into a product advertised as premium quality. As a small business owner and maker, I understand that no product is perfect, but transparency, performance, and customer support matter. Based on my experience, I personally do not feel this product justifies its high price point, especially considering there are alternative sealers available that perform similarly or better for a fraction of the cost. I truly wanted this product to work and had high hopes for it, but unfortunately I cannot confidently recommend it to any other makers for long term candle vessel use involving heat, wax, and fragrance oils.

I make cement candles, trays and home decor. This stuff is nothing short of amazing! I have tried other brands, they are costly as well. You definitely get what you pay for. I will be buying again and again!! Thank you!!

This really works , it is small , but little product is used , it has a good coverage , I will show you a finish and you will draw your own conclusions . 10 /10

I really like this but it is way way too expensive for this small amount. It doesn't smell and after coating it 3 times, it seems to be sealed well. I bought this because it says candle safe. I use this on concrete vessels. It goes on the same as another brand I was using that I paid a forth of what I paid for this. This other brand doesn't Say for candle vessels but I think it would probably be same.

It is very easy to work with; while it has a semi-matte finish initially, applying additional coats will create a glossy effect.

We applied this sealer to a plaster product in 4 full coats, strictly following all the manufacturer’s recommendations. After letting it dry completely (over 24 hours), we tested for water resistance. We poured water into the item, and within 15–20 minutes, it had absorbed over 100 ml, soaking through and visibly darkening the plaster. This completely ruined our entire batch of handmade items. Time, effort, and materials were wasted. If you're looking for actual water resistance — this is not the product. Very disappointing and absolutely not recommended.

For the price you don't get much, however it works well and it sealed my hydrostone candle jars perfectly with 3 coats. I used the dipping method and it has proven to be waterproof and wax hasn't seeped through after burning a candle, so I'm happy with the product. I just wish it were possible to buy it in bigger containers or the prices wasn't so high

I have tried this many times, using the direct instructions. Using acrylic paint on both cement and also on ceramic and even though I have let my items dry for over a month, as soon as I start to apply it using the cloth as per instructions my paint runs. Very disappointed especially for the price!
