This is the new timothy based pellet for adult rabbits. Dr. Sherwood worked hard to improve nutritional value over previous formulas. You'll see even better improvements in your energy level from bunnies better weight management and all the extra health benefits you should expect from Sherwood Pet Health formulas (softer skin, less urine smell, ext...). This new timothy pellet is concentrated so you should measure a small amount of pellets and feed it grass hay (1st or 2nd cut is better - the super smooth third cut is too rich and often leads to health problems).

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How much do you feed a rabbit that weighs less than 4lbs?**
A: I believe it tells you feeding instructions on the packaging based on their weight. My rabbit is 5.5 lbs, and I gave him 1/4 cup.

**Q: How does this compare to the Free Choice pellets?  I compared the ingredients and they are exactly the same.**
A: There are two adult timothy foods and yes the formulas are the same with the difference simply being that the blue bag of free choice is diluted down with a lot more timothy hay to allow it some flexibility. 

Which would be best may depend on you and your rabbit's habits. The concentrated pellet in the green bag is very dense nutrition and should be fed in very small measured amounts based upon weight making it great for rabbits who eat a lot of hay. A rabbit below 6lbs for example will get only 1/8 cup per day. 

The free choice timothy pellet in the blue bag is more flexible in that it can be fed at a minimum of 1 TBS per pound, fed freely or anywhere in between. This food is basically the same formula as the other but diluted down with a lot more timothy hay so that they can eat more of it which makes it great for rabbits who may not be good hay eaters, for pairs or groups where monitoring their intake is tough or even for people who love to be able to feed a bit extra.

**Q: Free choice**
A: This is not a free choice pellet but they do have an option for that. Check the Sherwood Website directly to view all products and recommendations.

**Q: Why has this product been "currently unavailable" for so many months??? Where else can I buy this?!**
A: Sherwood was starting up a new factory and had closed an old one, so their capacity was very low. I had to scramble, going through rabbit rescue groups to get some to tide our buns and fosters over.
