Hi there, the mats have a lot of suction cups and they stick perfectly to a smooth tub like ours as you can see. It is very important to install the mat in a wet tub, ideally under running water. Then the mat is literally sucked to the surface.

Ocean themed bath mat that works excellently

This has to be one of the cutest mats I have seen for a bathtub in a long time. The quality is super - it grips nicely. It’s comfortable. There is no odor, and the size is great considering we have an extra large Jacuzzi tub. It has holes so it can drain and the other thing I like is that it comes with hooks so you can hang it near the tub to use as needed- very beachy.
