I decided to try this for my low porosity hair based on reviews. My hair was so easy to detangle it was almost unbelievable. I have 4b natural hair and the detangler has amazing slip and a little goes a long way. It melts away knots and moisturizes while it detangles which helps with reducing breakage. The aloe and coconut water provides deep hydration and leaves my hair soft and manageable before shampooing. The scent is pleasant, fresh and fruity. It is also free of harsh chemicals which is perfect for my natural hair. Good value here for a nice product.

Worked great as a detangler and removed most of build up before actual shampoo, smells great and because of this pre poo I noticed less shedding during actual wash

African Pride Moisture Miracle Pre-Shampoo is amazing! I sectioned my thick 4C hair into four parts, and I was able to fully detangle each section in about 10 minutes—thoroughly, without breakage. I definitely need a trim, but don’t let that distract you—the product works great! A little goes a long way, the slip is excellent, my hair didn’t feel dry, and the smell is pleasant. Works on dry or soaking wet hair, with fingers or a brush. Seriously impressed—this is a must-try!

I love African Pride products. They work extremely well in my hair. My hair tends to be dry and the moisturizers keep my hair hydrated and with a nice sheen. Curls last and my hair is soft. This is my first time trying the pre shampoo. I had never seen it before. But the fact that it’s “detangling and conditioning/helps minimize breakage for natural curls and coils immediately grabbed my attention. It smells WONDERFUL!!!! That is a huge plus for me. I took a small section of hair to do a strand test. AMAZING!!! My curls are so pretty. Has a nice look and feel. My curls hang instead of shrinking. What I REALLY love is that my hair does not have that tacky feeling after applying. Very soft!!! This is definitely going to be on my list to continue purchasing and I will be telling my daughter and sister that have curls as well. My only reason for not giving this 5 stars is because the jar was slightly opened when I took it out of the box. To secure the product in shipping, there definitely needs to be something to keep it from spillage. Perhaps a sticker across the top or wrap in plastic and bubble wrap. Other than this I am a satisfied customer.

Such an amazing product for coarse coils and curly hair. The product has great slip and detangles within minutes, cutting your wash day in half.

Excellent product! I use it on damp hair. And i use about half a tub of it per use. I use it one or two times per week. So i order this 3 pack and it last me about a month for my afro. Always shampoo and deep condition hair after using this, amazing results and completely detangled every time!

My daughter has coily hair. I saw this product on YouTube while researching best products for my daughters hair type. We use this once a week in her hair 15-30 mins prior to our weekly wash routine and it absolutely helps to keep her hair feeling moisturised and soft plus it smells great. I rarely ever leave a review but I felt compelled to let others know about this miracle product. This product has been a game changer for us. My daughter’s hair absolutely LOVES this product. We never leave her hair out as it tangles immediately after brushing. Since finding this product, we are able to leave her hair in the most adorable poufs for up to 2 weeks and still detangle with relative easy before washing. She had twists in for 6 weeks, no problem! She has 4b THICK hair. I can’t say enough about how much this product has done for our wash days.
