Really calms inflamed skin
I love this Avene XeraCalm Eczema Calming balm and have been using for some time. I have rosacea and extremely dry skin. Twice a day I take a little XeraCalm and a couple of drops of castor oil and it works a miracle on my face. The XeraCalm takes the redness out of my face and the castor oil added does double duty with softening skin and keeping pustules at bay. Absolutely nothing I have used works as well as this combination and I have tried so many moisturizers. I also have rosacea on my scalp and ofter the crown of my scalp gets very red and sore. I just rub a little XeraCalm into the area and within a short time scalp feels so much better.

Amazing product for baby eczema!
This is the only products that cleared up my baby’s eczema! It’s very high quality, smooth, and luxurious feeling, while also being extremely hydrating, and lightweight. Another note- it is not greasy at all! This product was recommended by our pediatrician, and we’ve used it for 6+ months. Our baby’s skin issues have not been an issue since!

Great for sensitive skin!
Does not break me out! Works pretty good under makeup if you let it sink it- using at night would be best. Definitely helps calm the skin although not as hydrating as my physiogel redness relief cream. A great option if you feel like everything you’ve tried breaks you out

Good moisturizer
This stuff really helps for dry hands but I’m not really sure it helps for eczema

Great for sensitive skin
Huge fan of this, I’ll be devastated if they ever discontinue it. It’s the only thing that doesn’t piss off my super sensitive skin. Seriously, even cicalfate can aggravate my skin but this is so rich and calming but not greasy.

Greasy lotion
I always put lotion on my hands after I get in bed right before I go to sleep, just like the women on TV. I've done that since long before I knew it was a TV trope because I wash my hands often and I live in a super dry climate, so it just makes sense to do that. But anyway, I'm not a huge fan of this one. My skin on my hands can get dry and irritated a lot, so this sounded like a good moisturizer for me. But I find that it's pretty greasy and it doesn't really seem to absorb into my skin very well. I end up wiping my hands on a towel so I don't lube up my sheets while I'm sleeping.

Fabulous for Super Sensitive Skin!
I went in to my Skin Doctor with Dermatitis from trying products that REALLY irritated my skin to the point of burning, cracking, red and peeling. She gave me a prescription ointment and the recommendation of trying the Avene line. I mentioned Av**o (the "other" line that has a different letter at the end of the name, and shall remain nameless) and she said "That's not a bad line either, but this one I even suggest for my Eczema Babies. We actually have it available here in our office or you can order it on Amazon." She gave me a sample of this exact product. I used it after the ointment on only the parts of my skin that didn't have the ointment on it, as suggested, and I went ahead and ordered it. When done with the ointment treatment, I used it all over my face and neck. At first it felt abit "greasy" after application, and I'm not sure how it would fare under makeup. But now... No irritation, still has a heavy feel (not as greasy), but makes the skin on my face and neck feel and look great! I'm excited to go back to my Skin Doctor and have her see the results and get more Avene product recommendations from her! P.S. No scent and I'm still using the "tube" I originally ordered. Doesn't look to be down to half way yet. I don't care! I'll be ordering this again!
