MAMAZING Lullapod Power Nursery Rocking Chair with HugAssist Armrest

*****UPDATE***** We have now been using the chair for four months and it is still our favorite place to feed and nap with the baby. This chair saved my back and kept away the mom claw issues. I want a second one for upstairs now that the baby is sleeping in their own room because putting her to sleep for is getting to be hard on my back and hips without the chair upstairs. My husband and I love it so much and don’t regret getting it at all. *****END OF UPDATE******** We’ve been using y the chair for 2 months now. It’s amazing. I’m 5’4” and my husband is 6’4” and we can both sit comfortably in the chair while feeding the baby and letting her sleep on us. The motor is super quiet and doesn’t wake the baby ever. The rocket is also very quiet and I love that because we use that feature ALL THE TIME! It isn’t too large that we couldn’t fit it next to our couch in the living room. The material is soft and comfy, we got the green one with fabric instead of the pleather. Even though the material has little lines in the fabric, I don’t get up and have lines inserted into my skin ever, I was surprised and very happy about this. We haven’t had any issues with getting stains up yet. It’s easy to clean as well. Sturdy enough to hold my husband and he’s about 280. Well worth the money in my opinion. We use this chair every day. It’s not the prettiest color in my opinion but it’s soft and cushions are great and it’s very functional. The phone holder is super useful (using it right more to post this review while the baby sleeps on me) even the grandparents like it cuz we can video chat easily while we hold the baby.

I honestly could not be happier with this purchase! I spent a considerable amount of time searching for a nursery chair that would be both comfortable and functional—one I wouldn’t regret buying. I must have looked at hundreds of chairs in person and online, reading countless reviews in the process. While I noticed the reviews for this chair were mixed, many mentioned features that I considered really important. I’m so glad I took the chance because I absolutely love this chair! The adjustable armrests are fantastic—they adjust both in height and can move laterally, which is incredibly helpful for breastfeeding and keeping the baby steady (and myself comfortable) during feeding sessions. I do have a couple of minor wishes: I’d love if it reclined fully flat and if you could adjust the footrest and backrest independently (and perhaps a bit more quickly). However, these are truly small critiques in the grand scheme of things. Overall, I believe this chair was thoughtfully designed and has been an absolutely wonderful purchase. I would echo some other reviewers’ comments about the color being a bit odd—it works fine in our nursery, but it’s not something I would have chosen intentionally. That said, the fabric is wipeable and stain-resistant, which is a huge plus with a baby. I would highly recommend this chair. The price point is excellent, and assembly was straightforward. This has been exactly what I was looking for!

One box came on a Monday morning - showed the chair was delivered, the other half came on a Wednesday afternoon). EASY setup, no tools needed, and super comfortable! I don’t think this chair is worth $700 or $800, however, it is really comfortable and perfect for a nursery! Especially the fact it is not cloth, but more of a leather material,it is easy to clean up any mess! It is a wide seat, which means if you are a skinnier person, you might want more support on the sides. The armrests do not thoroughly lock in place if you are turning them towards you, but they do the job!

I am happy to be able to write a glowing review. I was totally nervous buying this online! I know it says it's returnable but the hassle that would have been made me concerned. I am so glad to be keeping this chair! Let me tell you the good things about it: It fits a woman's body! Sure, most of the recliners out there 'fit' but I have to put pillows behind me to have them be comfortable but this one the seat and back are at a size for an average woman. I'm 5' 4" and I don't have to squirm to get comfortable in it....nice! The feet come all the way up BEFORE the back starts to go back. So, I can sit up with my feet up and rest and do things in the chair - but if I want to lay back and relax that option is there too. It would be nice if it went back just a few more inches but with all the other boxes that it ticks, I'm not complaining about that. I have sat in over 200 chairs trying to find one that suited me, so I appreciate how challenging it can be. I felt that the price was fair. The chair feels solid and stable not like the economy versions that feel like they will fall apart before you get them home. The armrests that are adjustable haven't been something I have used yet but maybe later. I can see that for a mother that would be a nice feature. I love that the chair rocks and swivels! And then is also a recliner. It is comfortable! I also like that it is compact. While a full size recliner, it doesn't take up the same space that my husband's chair does and that is just another plus. Downside? I would have liked a phone charger built into the chair but that's not a big deal, but it would have been nice. That's it. It was easy to put together and not too heavy for my husband and a friend to carry upstairs. I hope if you try one, that you are as pleased with it as I am.

Breastfeeding is a struggle, more so than anyone will tell you, especially if your breasts’ shape or nipple placement are atypical. And I want to say that you can figure it out without this chair. If you don’t mind getting mom claw (where your hands start hurting from trying to hold your breast in a way that your baby can eat). After consulting with a couple lactation nurses, this ended up really helping me and my baby breastfeed in a more peaceable way. Without mom claw. First of all, putting this chair together was super simple, but definitely need two people so you can have one person secure in place the assembled part as the other person slots in (it is a slot type system) each new part. Instructions are great, works for women who read instructions and men who intuit how things are put together. Secondly, it has pockets on the sides, it swivels almost 360 degrees (think it’s like 270), it has a phone holder (especially nice if your baby refuses to stop breastfeeding past the allotted time because they just want to use you as a pacifier and you love them so much you let them). The adjustable arms are fantastic to get your baby or yourself in the position needed to feed. The seat is wide so no worries if you’re plus size. The remote to lift the arms or recline hooks onto the phone holder stand so it’s nice and accessible even when you have your hands full of baby. The cushions on the seat the back are really comfortable. I’ve fallen asleep with and without my baby in the chair and no cricks in my neck or stiffness afterwards. Just a great tool for me as a first time mom. It’s so nice I got one for my house and one for my parents’ so I always have a great experience breastfeeding my baby. I got two of the colorways and they both look and feel great. Highly recommend putting this on your registry.

UPDATE: I am genuinely impressed at the stellar customer service of this seller. As stated in my review, I can't disassemble/return this chair so I didn't attempt to return. After writing my review, seller reached out offering solutions including a refund. I was very surprised to wake up today and find a full refund! I want to reiterate that this chair is really incredible, has amazing, unique features and for many people would probably be perfect! For the few that may have issues, just know that they'll do all they can to make it right. My sincere thanks to the seller. Original: The 2 stars are because this is a beautiful, high quality and luxurious feeling chair with some awesome accessories. But unfortunately it is incredibly uncomfortable to actually use. First the positives: -Simple assembly: I'm alone so it was a challenge as it's a very heavy, quality made chair but with 2 people or a bigger, less preggo person I imagine it would be a breeze. The instructions are clear but the assembly is quite intuitive even without it. -It is beautiful and the material is amazing!! It feels super buttery soft and luxurious. Feels very upscale. It even smells good. -I love the phone holder, the pockets, and the armrests nothing short of amazing for a nursing mom. -The seat is really low to the ground which will work excellent for having a C-section like I am. Now the negatives: -The metal part where the seat back goes into the bottom was messed up (I'm assuming from shipping as the box was pretty beat up) Luckily was able to kind of hammer it back in place. -The major problem and reason for only 2 stars is that it's SO uncomfortable for your head! The part where your head goes has a line right down the middle and then pillows on each side of the line. It's an awful design that doesn't provide any neck support. It's hard to sit in for even half an hour without getting a head/neck ache and considering that I got this so to use for extended periods of time nursing it just really sucks. If you are fully, and I mean fully, reclined it's okay because your head is straight back and it's then supported. But if it is any less than fully reclined it puts your head/neck in an incredibly uncomfortable position/angle with no support. I REALLY wanted to love this chair. And there are things I love about it. But I definitely won't be able to use this thing for the purpose I intended. I can't nurse lying all the way back. I'm really disappointed as this was my only big splurge item for this pregnancy. $800 is A LOT of money for me. My heart is a lil broken as, like I said, I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately I also don't see me actually returning it. At 6 months pregnant, I barely got it together on my own. I can't even imagine how difficult it would be to try and get this heavy thing back apart and then in a box and then ship it back. Now that I think about it the box was destroyed when it arrived so I don't even have a box to put it in if I could somehow manage to take it apart. So unfortunately I'm stuck with a super expensive, super beautiful and super uncomfortable chair.

I’m really sad I have to write this review. I feel so guilty for having to leave this review because The seller was beyond AMAZING getting me the chair right away before my hospital admission due to my high risk pregnancy. I wasn’t gonna write a review but I’m super Bummed I saved money up while pregnant for this chair that I thought would be the perfect nursing chair for me and to help alleviate back pain and make nursing easier. I also feel I need to be honest to help spare someone else the heartache of spending so much money on a chair of their dream just for it to cause bad back and neck pain. The low stars are because the chair is very nice and the color is perfect shade of gray I had hoped it would be. The chair itself is high quality and has a nice, soft, luxury feel to it with great features. But unfortunately, after having for about 3 weeks now, it is very uncomfortable for me to actually use. It makes my back & neck hurt to the point that I refuse to sit in it anymore. So now I have a chair inlaid 800 plus dollars for that I cannot use and cannot return because I’m almost 9 months pregnant so I cannot take it apart let alone attempt to pack back in a box. I was barely able to get it in my house and put it together by myself. the good: fast & simple assembly: I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant & alone so it was a challenge because it's very heavy, high quality made chair. But the instruction were straightforward and easy to understand how to assemble. the chair itself looks beautiful It is and the material is soft, buttery & feels amazing!Feels very upscale. It even smells good. I love ALL the accessories like the phone holder, the pockets, and the armrests. The seat is low to the ground which would usually be excellent for someone short like me and perhaps for a mom who has a C-section. The bad: The seat part where you sit extends back too far where someone short like myself cannot sit in the chair properly. I can’t sit all the way back comfortably. Event with he pillow they provide with the chair it’s extremely uncomfortable. The metal part where the seat back goes into the bottom was messed up which was probably from shipping as the box was pretty beat up when they arrived. I was able to bang it back in place. the major reason I think it hurts my neck and back is the The part where your head and back goes has a line right down the middle of the chair and then pillows on each side of the line forces your neck and back to sink deeper into the middle where the line goes down. It seems like an awful design which unfortunately doesn't provide any neck or back support. It suck’s because it’s hard to sit it for 20 minutes let alone longer to nurse which was the reason i bought this chair. My goal was to be able to comfortably nurse my baby’s without pain. Sucks because now that’s not an option. Conclusion: Again, I’m totally bummed because I REALLY wanted to love this chair. But, unfortunately I definitely won't be able to use this chair at all let alone for the intended purpose of nursing. I can't nurse with neck and back pain. Again, I'm really disappointed as this was my only big splurge item for this pregnancy. $I saved up for months to be able to Afford this chair in hopes it would allow me to nurse and sit in it with pain. $800 plus tax is A LOT of money to spend on a nursing chair to turn around and not be able to use at all let alone won’t be able to nurse innit once my baby is born. My heart has been torn for the past 3 weeks because like I said, I really wanted to love it and the seller was super amazing to help me get it sooner before my hospital admission. Also, Unfortunately I won’t be able to actually return it as I’m almost 9 months pregnant and I was I was barely able to get it in my house, or together on my own. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it would be for me actually try and take this heavy piece of furniture back apart, attempt to place in boxes and then attempt to return it. It would be impossible. with that being said, unfortunately I'm stuck with a beautiful looking, nice, super expensive, and very uncomfortable chair that I cannot enjoy whatsoever and I’m out 800 plus dollars so I cannot replace the chair for a chair that I can actually use to nurse once my baby is born.

This chair is to die for 🥹 Like, way above my expectations. The size is perfect. I’m 5’4” and was worried I wouldn’t be able to touch the ground so I can rock, but I can. It’s smaller than it looked online, which is good because our nursery is small and I was worried it would be too big for our space, but it’s not. And it’s soooo comfortable. I love the extra lumbar pillow, it makes it even more comfortable, especially since I have an old lumbar injury. The rocking and swiveling is so smooth, no squeaks or other noises. It’s also very easy to put together. I put it together on my own at 25+ weeks pregnant lol. I was going to wait for my husband , but decided to see how far I could get without his help, and I got it completely put together. The cup holders are large enough for my water bottle, which is a plus, because most cup holders don’t fit them. I love the cell phone holder, I can see myself using it a lot during feedings. I haven’t tried raising the arm rests yet because I need my husband to move the chair closer to an outlet in order to plug it in. But I’m pretty sure that they are going to be great. I got the vanilla color and it is gorgeous, and the material is so soft. I like that it’s not cloth, so if there are any messes, it will be easier to wipe clean. I can’t say enough good things about this chair. Worth the $$ 💯.

La cabeza reposa perfectamente en el respaldo sin necesidad de usar el cojín extra (que en mi caso terminaba estorbando y preferí quitarlo). ​Comodidad del reposapiés: Por mi altura, es normal que los pies sobresalgan un poco del reposapiés al extenderlo, pero aun así es sumamente cómodo. ​Posición de reclinación ideal para lactancia: No se reclina por completo al 100% como una cama plana; mantiene una posición ergonómica en forma de "V". Para dormir o descansar con el bebé, esta postura es excelente y da mucha seguridad. ​Mecanismo de mecedora versátil y silencioso: La mecedora funciona increíble. Se puede usar estando el sillón totalmente recto o con el reposapiés ligeramente elevado. Al reclinarlo más, el balanceo amplio se bloquea por seguridad, pero no queda rígido; permite un leve movimiento con las piernas que es ideal para arrullar al bebé si se llega a despertar. Además, es 100% silencioso, no hace ningún ruido al reclinarse ni al mecerse. ​Reposabrazos funcionales: La acción y soporte de los reposabrazos es fantástica. Como tip de postura para amamantar: si vas a dar del seno derecho, sugiero pegarte lo más posible al reposabrazos de ese mismo lado para que el hombro descanse de forma óptima y no se fatigue. ​Doble portavasos: Tener uno de cada lado es sumamente eficiente y práctico, ya que te permite tener tu bebida a la mano sin importar qué brazo tengas ocupado sosteniendo al bebé. ​PUNTOS A CONSIDERAR (Neutrales o dependientes del espacio) ​Soporte para el teléfono: El aditamento cumple con sostener el celular si solo quieres ver un video o tenerlo a la mano. Sin embargo, con el mínimo movimiento del sillón el soporte se tambalea bastante, por lo que no funciona para escribir o intentar leer texto continuo. ​Bolsillos laterales: Son amplios y útiles para guardar cosas como snacks cerrados u objetos pequeños. En mi caso no les doy tanto uso porque el espacio donde lo coloqué es estrecho (queda justo entre la pared y la cama), pero estructuralmente son muy funcionales. ​PUNTOS EN CONTRA (Lo malo y áreas de oportunidad) ​Material caluroso (Vinipiel): La tela de vinipiel hace que sudes bastante, lo cual se potencia si vives en una ciudad calurosa y le sumas el calor corporal al amamantar. La piel se llega a pegar al sillón. Tip de solución: Yo lo solucioné perfectamente colocándole encima una sábana de cajón (de las que tienen resorte) y quedó excelente. ​Puerto de carga poco confiable: El control tiene una entrada para conectar y cargar el teléfono, pero honestamente no me genera confianza y prefiero no arriesgarme a usarlo. ​Precio inflado en plataformas: El costo del sillón está bastante inflado en comparación con el precio de la página oficial de la marca. No obstante, como la marca no hace envíos fuera de Estados Unidos y el costo de importación por fuera sería altísimo debido al peso, comprarlo por Amazon termina siendo la única opción viable a pesar del sobreprecio.
