A Convenient Steamer That Works Well at Home
I have been using this standing garment steamer for a little while now and it has made my daily routine a lot easier. I like that it heats up quickly because it lets me get through my clothes without waiting around. The steam feels strong enough to smooth out most wrinkles with little effort on my part. I appreciate having the option to steam clothes while they hang or lay flat since it gives me more flexibility depending on the item. The adjustable rods make it comfortable to use and keep everything steady while I work. I like how simple it is to move from one piece of clothing to the next. The steamer feels more convenient than using a regular iron for most of my shirts and light fabrics. I also like that the steam helps freshen clothes that have been sitting in the closet. The water tank lasts long enough that I do not have to refill it often during a session. I find the nozzle easy to handle and it spreads the steam evenly across the fabric. The different mode options help when I am working with delicate or heavier items. I feel more confident using this steamer on things like curtains and bedding too. The safety features give me peace of mind while it is running. I think the build feels sturdy enough for regular use in my home. Overall I am happy with how convenient and effective this steamer has been for keeping my clothes looking neat.

Wrinkle-Free Clothes
I’m the kind of person who likes everything in the house to be clean, fresh, and in order — and that includes wrinkle-free clothes. After trying several steamers that either spit water or just didn’t do the job, I finally found one that actually delivers: the HAPAIS Standing Garment Steamer. From the moment I took it out of the box, I could tell this was going to be a game-changer. It heats up in just 30 seconds, which is perfect for someone like me who’s always moving from one task to another. The steam is powerful — you can actually see it penetrating the fabric and relaxing the wrinkles almost instantly. My linen shirts, which I used to dread ironing, now look fresh and crisp in minutes. And it doesn’t just make clothes look better — it also refreshes and deodorizes them, which I didn’t expect but absolutely appreciate. The 2-liter water tank is another huge plus. I can get through a full laundry basket without refilling it, and it detaches easily so there’s no awkward spilling when I do need to refill. I also love that it automatically shuts off if it gets too hot or runs out of water — it’s a small thing, but it gives me peace of mind when I’m multitasking around the house. One of the standout features for me is the double pole design. It’s sturdy and doesn’t wobble like cheaper models, which makes the whole experience feel more professional. I can steam clothes either hanging or flat, depending on the fabric, and the height is adjustable, which makes it super comfortable to use — no more awkward bending. The nozzle is smartly designed, with 10 holes that distribute the steam evenly. I noticed right away that it doesn’t leak water or leave wet spots like my old steamer did. It’s gentle enough for my silk blouses, but strong enough for my husband’s cotton shirts and even our curtains and sheets. I also like that there are 10 different fabric modes — it may sound like overkill, but I’ve actually used several already and it really does help to have the right steam level for different materials. Honestly, it feels like this machine was designed for people like me — people who care about the details and want things done right, but also need tools that make life easier, not more complicated. If you’re someone who loves a tidy home, hates wrinkled clothes, and appreciates well-made appliances that do what they promise, I highly recommend this garment steamer. It’s stylish, powerful, easy to use, and has made getting ready — and keeping the household looking neat — so much faster and less stressful. I never thought I’d be this excited about a steamer, but here we are.

Subpar steam output
Unfortunately, I didn't have anything to try this steamer on within the possible return window. This was supposed to be an upgrade to a little travel steamer I picked up for cheap that has a small water reservoir and only three levels for temperature control. With a larger reservoir with a mini ironing board attachment and lots of temperature options for the steam, I thought this would surely be an upgrade. I have this on the highest setting, and it barely touches wrinkles, and the tube keeps folding on itself, restricting the steam flow out the nozzle. My small travel steamer knocks out wrinkles easily, and I would rather repeatedly refill the small steamer than try to keep using this one

Best steamer ever! Deff worth the investment!
Love this! My old steamer had such a small head that it took a long time to finish the whole shirt. I love that this extends, you can use a hanger or the ironing board option and that there’s multiple clothing settings to use. The tank is huge. Only issue I’ve noticed after using it one time is it collects dust/lint from the clothes around the edges but it’s easy to wipe off. Very easy to use, works amazing and great value for money! Quality is top tier and it gets hot quickly. I wish the hand mitt had a handle attachment so I can hook it to the steamer so it doesn’t get lost. It’s heavy duty, but able to roll around which I love so the weight of it isn’t a problem at all!

Works, with some annoyances.
First, it does work. It is easy to fill, heats up quickly, and I was able to steam a couple of shirts with good results. There is a flat ironing board that mounts to the vertical supports that makes it easy to smooth out wrinkles. It has some “quirks” however, that make me wonder if there isn’t a better steamer available. It would be nice if the working height was higher. The maximum height is around 5 foot. When you are steaming the bottom of a shirt, it can be awkward to hold the steamer because you are working 2 or 2 1/2 feet below eye level. Complicating things is the steamer hose has a tendency to kink and cutoff the flow of steam to the steam head when it isn’t fully extended, requiring you to hold the steamer head with one hand and the hose with the other, leaving you no hands to manipulate the actual clothing you are trying to steam. Also, because of the low height pants or dresses can easily extend to 1 to 2 feet off the floor making it a challenge to steam. The dial to turn the unit on is located on the base, as you’d expect. Unfortunately, the markings for the settings are in elegant gold ink and the base is white, making it hard to see what setting you are on when the base is on the floor and you are bending over to turn it on. I guess you would eventually figure out how many clicks to use for which fabrics, but I might not be that patient. Finally, the ironing board can be mounted in a vertical or horizontal position, which is good. It’s somewhat involved, however, if you want to move it from one position to another. When it’s in the vertical position, it attaches to the vertical supports below the hanger. When you want to use it in the horizontal position, you need to remove the hanger, lower the vertical supports and afix the ironing board to the top of the supports. It’s not difficult, but it does take a few minutes and isn’t ideal. For my use, i wanted to be able to use the steamer ironing board instead of the full ironing board if I wanted to touch up a collar or something. Because of the steps involved in changing the orientation of the steamer ironing board, it’s probably quicker to leave it in the vertical position. All in all, the steamer does work, and if you can live with the “quirks” it might be a good steamer for you, especially at the price point. For my use, however, I’d rather spend a little more money now and not complain about it over the life of the steamer.

Lots of steam. Easy to use. Works great.
Good amount of steam to do a fine job on most clothing. I use a heavier and longer heat mitt rather than the thin one that comes with it but I wanted extra length on the cuff. When you’re turning or adjusting the garment it’s good protection. It takes wrinkles out of pants and trousers well. Hang them over a door hook if needed. I do choose the ironing board for a more precise crease on dress trousers. I did try using 6 long sewing pins to pin the creases then use the steam clipped board as a backing- use a pant hangar. Worked ok. Watch thin fabrics so they don’t burn. The dial allows for steam adjustment. I typically hang the garment and keep rotating it. The clip on board is a good backing when attached to the stand. It’s removable but small as a mini ironing board. The steamer is thin enough to stash between hanging clothes in a closet. Easy assembly. A few reasons why I didn’t give it 5 stars is the upright rack / frame construction is a bit thin and can be wobbly. No biggie. Just be mindful. Also the hose could be 6 inches longer but you adapt and adjust the garment or hang it on a door. I also lined the back of the clipped on board with several layers of heavy tin foil as the steam can penetrate through the plastic perforation and if you’re hand holding the back side it’s hot. Use a mitt. Again no biggie. It’s hot steam! Otherwise it’s good value for my money. Saves getting out the iron and board much of the time or for people who avoid ironing or don’t own one. I don’t iron many things as they are fine out of the dryer. Hang to dry items and other pieces have a more polished look when steamed or pressed.

Excellent upright steamer; note advice re assembly to use hook for hangars
After 25+ years of service in 4 different homes across the county, my Jiffy commercial-grade clothes steamer finally gave its last gasp of steam. I searched for a replacement and was delighted to see the range of upright steamers now available for home use. I chose this one by Hapais based on the positive reviews, attractive price point, and the innovative design with the attached small ironing board. It arrived yesterday and meets all my expectations: was easy to assemble, is attractive sitting in the corner of my bathroom rather than stored away in a closet, produces steam very quickly (in 30 seconds or less), and is easy to refill. The water tank lasted for over one hour of continuous use. I'm not sure that I will often convert it into a horizontal ironing board - perhaps for steaming heavy jeans or table cloths. But for the most part I will use as an upright steamer and find that the ironing board in the vertical position provides the option of steaming portions of a garment against the solid surface. One thing to note: The assembly instructions were silent on the correct position for the clip that attaches to the top of the plastic hanger to hold the steamer head. I noted in photos that the clip has a small hook on one side. Some reviewers had it facing to the front, with the cradle for the steamer head in the back so that you can hang a hanger on the small hook rather than removing the article of clothing and hanging it on the plastic hanger that is part of the steamer unit. However, other reviewers had the cradle facing forward, rendering the small tool on the back useless. If you want the option of steaming an article of clothing on its own hanger, you need to place the clip on top of the plastic hanger with the small hook facing forward and the cradle in the back. Once it is placed with a solid "click," you can't remove the clip with the cradle. So if you have already assembled and have the small hook in the back, you can simply reverse the position of the hanging board and use the steamer from the backside. I hope this makes sense and am attaching photos that show the assembly as I've described it with the small hook facing forward.

So not purchase
I bought this machine about a year ago. It has been nothing but a hassle since the very beginning !! It has the power to be a perfect at home steamer but since the begging it falls apart at every turn, it drips and leaks from the tank. Anytime I use it there is a puddle on my wooden floors. The hose keeps twisting a denting and in such it prevents the steam from flowing properly. Unfortunately I did not use the product before the return window closed so I got stuck with it.
