Look and feel real if you take a bit of time
Fabulous when done properly! This saved me a fortune on my quest to bring cottage style into my home. To make them look authentic, I actually cut the pieces apart and used joint compound to adhere them. Then, I piped joint compound between them using a piping bag. I absolutely love the result! They are holding up perfectly in my kitchen and on my fireplace, and they give me the exact cottage vibe I was looking for. (The last photo is the "before" of my fireplace!)

easy install. Looks real after grout application.
Looks great if you take time to grout around stones. Regular tile grout woks great on the product, as well as wall board plaster for the whitewashed look. A bit pricey, but easy to work with. Cuts easily and industrial adhesive with staple gun application was a breeze. Applying grout makes it look like the real thing.

Cheap looking

Looks Great, Installation Was Challenging
The panels look really nice and give the appearance of real stone once theyโre up. My biggest disappointment was that they didnโt come with any adhesive or mounting supplies, so be sure to plan for that. Installation was also more difficult and time consuming than I expected. The finished look is great, but I wish the process had been a bit easier.

Great purchase!
For the price, this product was great! I was so inspired by product review pictures, that I decided to leave my own so that someone else can be inspired. I built a fireplace and cut the โstonesโ out individually. I glued them to the plywood with all purpose construction glue. I did the German Schmear method, but hereโs a warning! The paint or color on the rocks will wash off with a washcloth and warm water scrubbing over the dried drywall compound. Thankfully, it blends in with the schmear appearance, but I would have applied the compound differently if I had known the paint would come off. Overall, this product was perfect for my desired outcome. You wonโt regret the purchase! I plan to order again for more projects!

Cut out and grout! Cottagecore vibes!
Do as others say- CUT OUT INDIVIDUALLY AND GROUT!This product has the potential to look really cheap and ugly or it can look beautiful and well done! The secret is as others have said. Cut out all of the stones individually, attach with liquid nails, and then grout in between. I think it looks best when you make the grout look messy so you dull down any shine of the fake rock to make it look more realistic. Really happy with our results!

Super easy; beautiful outcome!
These were very easy to apply and turned out beautifully. I saw negative reviews saying they are just a thin piece of plastic and not worth the money โฆ but thatโs essentially what allows essentially anyone to use these! No tools required, they are super easy to cut with scissors, and easy to apply. I used construction adhesive I got from Loweโs (specifically ones that come in a squeeze tube and donโt require a caulk gun) and then once they were all up, I smeared everything with spackling to give it a white effect. Iโve always had different peel n stick wallpaper prints on this odd wall which is the first thing you see when you walk in my house, but this is much more sophisticated looking. Iโm very pleaser with the outcome and would definitely recommend these. And FYI, this wall required 3 boxes and I think I had around 4 sheets left over.

Find something else
So glad I purchased a sample and tested it out before I purchased a whole box and ruined my wall. If your like us and haven seen this all over Pinterest and YouTube it looks beautiful in the videos and pictures. After using joint compound to give us the look we were going for it looked terrible and flat as in not 3D the stones are flat and once you joint compound them itโs flat like wallpaper. Anyways after we joint compounded the sample and let it dry then went back in with a wet rag to clean some areas up the color on the stone was completely wiped away with just an old dish towel and water. I canโt see how this would last on a wall or as backsplash itโs not durable at all.

So Worth It!
Obsessed for the price, a lot of work. Cut some out individually. Happy with the final product.

Love it!
The panels are exactly how they look and among many other reviews, it will look amazing if you put the work in. Even if your surface is a perfect fit, the raw edges are silly without some sort of joint finish or trim.I used real sanded grout, which is different than what others used in reviews and Tiktok videos. Spackle (or joint compound) was widely used by other people because it will stick to the plastic, but it dries like chalk and I also didn't want bright white - but that option has been praised online.Using a real sanded grout was honestly horrible to apply but gave an amazing finish that looks like real masonry. I had to pipe it on in small sections, wait ~20 minutes and then gently press it in while in the sticky stage. I am not experienced and this took me many hours to do half a wall. Because the "sticky stage" window was so fast, that's why I had to do small sections. Touching it any sooner would cause it to leap off the panel like wet mud would do and waiting too long would make it unable to shape & flatten. The panels do stick with construction adhesive and I didn't need to staple it. Going around the edge and then a quick "X" or zigzag in the middle was enough to hold it properly - if you don't do this, the middle could be flexible and crack with any small impact to it or expansion from the weather. It took me 17 panels to cover this small area in the photos - many of which I had to improvise smaller rocks by cutting them to shape, but it stayed nicely hidden in the grout and you can't even tell.Hope this helps and wasn't just me rambling. Also

Love it! Great budget friendly way to add character
Followed all the reviews to cut the rocks individually + glue with liquid nails + mud the corners + rub some mud on top of the rocks + matte poly to seal on the top + caulk the corner with the countertop. Looks so good! Everyone that sees it compliments it. It was a labour of love but totally worth it

Awesome for a DIY feature wall
Easy to cut, easy to install and final over-grouted look was so easy to achieve. I covered more rock than most do as I was more interested in the texture than the colours but final product looks great and it was an easy DIY for this beginner!

Takes a lot of work to get it to look good
This was a tiresome project. It turned out okay but if I could turn back time I would have done panelling, wallpaper, anything else.
