I'd Love to Draw!

Andrew Loomis’s how to draw books are the best drawing series available.Others are just imitations of Loomis’s instructional style.

Not as full of info as some of his others, but really good

So much wisdom in this book. Hard to put this book down. Like having a one-on-one lesson from Loomis.

The books by Andrew Loomis are always an asset for those who draw. This new one, lost for so many years, it's worth the value. His sketches of women are unsurpassed!

All of Loomis books on drawing are great books, and probably the best to have on your shelf, if you had to pick.

Loomis is the premiere illustrator that all illustrators are gauged by.The lessons are clear and useful as is all his teachings.

Titan is to be commended for reprinting all of Andrew Loomis' long out of print (and expensive) books of instruction. Not only did they insure aspiring artists could avail themselves of this master's guidance, they could now do so at an affordable price. And the quality of these reprints is certainly top notch. This last book, however, might just as well be titled "Remnants From the Cutting-Room Floor". If you have already purchased any of the other titles in the series this volume will offer little new to get excited about. Unless you are a Loomis completist and must have everything associated with his name I think I would pass on this latest offering. If you haven't purchased any of the other titles as yet, start with "Creative Illustration", its a masterpiece. Sorry, but there just isn't a whole lot of there, there.

Esse livro é muito legal! Ele mostra com uma forma mais solta como é possível desenhar de forma mais aprimorada quase que imediatamente, apenas pensando na imagem com seu volume :)

Westgate of money and time

Ce recueil est le plus dispensable de la collection des Loomis. Il faut d'abord se procurer tous les autres volumes réédités par Titan. Tous ce qui est traité succintement dans ce livre appartaît déjà dans les autres volumes. Il s'agit ici de croquis faits pas le passé, dans un style plus ou moins relâché. Ce livre complète la collection. Surtout destiné aux fans. Rien de fondamentalement nouveau.Quand aurons-nous une traduction française de ces inégalables recueils ????

Als grosser Loomis Jünger war der Kauf eine klare Sache.Inhaltlich nicht so sehr viel neues.Ich hätte lieber einen Neudruck von Eye of the Painter.
