I love this nightgown! The fabric is soft and somewhat sheer but it adds to the romantic feel. I ordered a size up to make it fall off my shoulders, like in those old romance novels lol. It’s definitely worth the purchase, I loved the blue so much I purchased all the colors. Make sure that you wash on delicate cycle otherwise it may ruin the fabric or shrink it

It's been several months since I purchased this nightgown. It is lovely, and I got one made of a cotton blend. I received it in late January, and wore it several times, washed and wore again several more times. The gown was initially very long on me (I'm 5.2), hitting me at my ankle, but it appeared the hem was a slight bit higher in the front than in the back which was helpful in that I was less likely to get tripped up going up the stairs. While I still have the gown, and intend to wear it until I can't anymore, I have to say that if I can find this gown at a decent price, that is of a higher quality and make, I probably recycle this one and forgo wearing it again. My only gripe is that after several washes, using mild laundry soap, on a gentle cycle, and hanging to dry naturally, the gown has shrunk significantly. It is now up to my shins, directly below my knee and looks more like your average chemise than an actual nightgown. There is nothing wrong with that, if that is one's preference, but I really enjoy a longer nightgown for my sleepwear. All in all, if you're on a budget and this is the style/type of nightgown you are looking for, by all means, go for it. Just be warned that if you receive the same materials I did, it's probably not going to stay in the same shape and length as you originally purchased it and it will most likely look like you actually received it as a hand-me-down from your great great grandmother.

My husband loves white cotton pjs on me. But I stopped wearing them because our kids got holder. Now that most of them are out of the house I decided to buy this one. It’s very pretty true to size the cotton is very soft and light weight which is great because menopause sucks. I always feel pretty it in. Even my 22 year old daughter who is getting married commented on how pretty it was. I did have to stretch the elastic in the arms. I would highly recommend this night gown. And plan on buying another one.

Very pretty vintage look. It came wrinkled but the wrinkles fell out quickly. Light weight and a little see through but I want it for romantic nights so I'm happy with that. I'm 5'5 115 pounds and the small fits really well. I do see that the elastic on the arms could feel tight after awhile but it's not too bad.

Nightgown is nice, but they run small. I wear a medium/large, I ordered large, the elastic on sleeve was very tight. I ordered a medium a few months ago, and order large figured I’d give medium as a gift to someone one. Now I have two, and I don’t know how to return to Amazon.

I love this product. It is lightweight, soft, and I feel like I should be frolicking through a field of flowers when I wear it. But, in all seriousness, it is lightweight, soft, somewhat see-through, and perfect for summer nights (and all other nights year round too).

This is a step back in time! Very lightweight and quite see through, this gown is super soft and flowy. Fabric is very comfortable. At 5'3" this comes just above my ankles. Can be worn on or off the shoulder, as well as tied or open. Super feminine!
