Bought this for my son’s room because the window won’t fit an air conditioner. I would recommend anyone to buy this. Without even adding the water and the ice packs it still blows cool air. It is reliable, low noise level . It’s nice to have a remote so you don’t have to get up and change the settings.

I picked up this Dreo evaporative cooler to replace my older unit from another brand that stopped circulating water after two years. I’ve been using Dreo’s air conditioner for over four years and have always been impressed with its performance, so I decided to stick with the brand—and I’m glad I did. Compared to my previous cooler, this one swings a bit faster, which I personally find less ideal for airflow distribution. However, the 4-speed settings are excellent. I usually keep it on speed 2, and it’s more than enough to cool my living room. The airflow reaches far and feels refreshing without being overpowering. It’s noticeably quieter than my old unit. The cross-flow impeller design really does make a difference—perfect for keeping the room cool without disrupting conversations or sleep. The standout feature for me is the honeycomb dust filter. My old cooler had a cardboard-style pad that would develop odors if not dried properly. Dreo’s filter feels much more hygienic and durable, and the removable water tank and grille make cleaning super easy. Overall, this cooler is a solid upgrade. While I wish the oscillation speed were adjustable, the cooling power, quiet operation, and thoughtful design more than make up for it. Dreo continues to impress with reliable and user-friendly products.

I was skeptical, but this does work much better than a fan. The unit really does blow cool air. I took one star off because the ice packs that come with the unit are what keep the water cool. If the ice packs melt, you can feel the air become a little warmer. I also wasn’t sure how to secure the ice packs inside the unit that holds water. I thought the quick start instructions related to installing the ice packs were hard to understand.

I ordered 2 fans. The first fan set up quickly and easily, and functions beautifully. The second fan, the 2 bottom pieces that form the stand, don't come together as well, nor do they fit to the bottom of the fan. Therefore, the fan appears to be an erratic Wheeble Whobble when turned on. It is clearly unsafe to use. Even though I would rate the first fan as 5 out of 5 stars, the second fan was a very expensive waste of money for me. I paid to have the fans shipped to me internationally at almost the same cost as the fans. This was my choice, and I accepted the cost. However, when this company doesn't check the two flimsy plastic parts to ensure they connect together and then connect to the fan itself before shipping, it is unacceptable negligence.

It was easy to set up, I love that it is both a fan and cooler. Where we live we do not have ac this is perfect for are bedroom. The cooler is perfect keeps the room cooler on a hot day. I recommend getting a 1 gallon pitcher for filling up the reservoir .

I bought this to try to save my AC from running so much in the bedroom. The fan works fine. I do wish it had more speeds like the lasco I bought with 12 speeds. As for cooling, it feels cool if you sit in front of it but it will not cool down a room as some have stated. I think I read or seen on a review video where they claimed it lowered room temp by 10 degrees. LOL./ That's impossible with this dreo evap cooler. I add ice water in the tank with ice packs and maybe a couple hours of true cooler air. I switch them out and add more a few hours later. My own ice packs. Maybe if we had an ice machine and filled the tank with more ice and ice water for extra cool air. I may try that down the road if I buy an ice machine.

I have a mid century house with peaked ceilings and no AC. It’s the PNW and I have a lot of trees so I rarely felt like I needed AC until a few years ago when summers got much hotter here. The windows don’t allow for window units so I’ve only ever used those giant free standing AC’s in bedrooms but nothing worked in my more open plan living/dining/entry area until this! It’s not central air but it took the temp in there from 86° to 74° in 30 minutes! It definitely keeps it in the bearable range, which when it’s very hot out, even my closing up of everything all day did not. It’s a solid value for money and seems fairly well made. Longer term, we’ll see but it was durable enough for me to lug it to work without taking it apart when our AC was having issues there.It’s low enough profile to just look like a pillar fan. The hardest thing about it is that because there’s water, you need to clean it regularly. It’s a little finicky to connect the hose to the tank, especially when full of water but not a deal breaker. I don’t care about the remote control. They are just another thing for me to lose so I’ve never used it. Nice if you have mobility issues but not for me.

to be clear, this works fine as a “fan “ : but as a “ cooler “it is problematic. constantly have to add water to the tank & it ( for some unknown reason) pops the electrical box breaker or surge suppressor at random. Tried every room & outlet in the house with the same result: and no prior issues with any device beforehand

C'est une tour avec une ventilation très performante. Son fonctionnement à l'eau donne un air un peu plus frais qu'une ventilation classique, cependant pour ce qui me concerne, en plaçant un thermomètre devant le flux d'air, celui-ci n'a pas baissé en température. La nuit en laissant tourner en vitesse minimale, le rafraîchissement est appréciable et le bruit reste supportable, surtout quand il fait 29 degrés dans la chambre. Ça n'est pas un climatiseur mais un bon compromis entre ventilateur classique et climatisation, à un tarif correct et avec une consommation électrique réduite par rapport à un climatiseur. Je suis satisfait de mon achat.

Il fait de l'air frais si ont mets l'eau et les pain de glace mais absolument pas d'humidification, donc en gros c'est un bon ventilateur
