After searching online for a while I found this LG drive. I was worried about the performance of such drives with Macs, as a lot of them seem to struggle with the OS. As soon as I mounted this DVD drive into my Mac, the native DVD Player Application opened and began playing the DVD instantly. No issues, no concerns. You can change the region of the DVD player 5 times, which is another handy function to have. Another great quality is the silent running of the drive, it’s amazingly quiet.
