Looks great and is fun to build
A fun, high quality kit that's fun to assemble and looks really great when all decals are applied. The left shoulder attachment with the saber handles doesn't feel very secure perhaps, but that's a minor complaint.Also, I wouldn't recommend paying anything north of £20 for it, as it already feels like it's pushing it for that price point for what you get in the box, despite how nice it looks. Just FYI.

An extremely detailed and unique Gundam
So premium for HG, once again we have a kit that feels like RG with the high level of detail, color separation, and the nice stickers which fit the shape of the part that they are meant for. This kit is easy enough for anyone to build, but there is a lot of potential for hobbyists. You’ll want to know how to panel line to bring out the full detail. There are a lot of cool inner frame details as well that show with the good articulation in the torso and legs. I had a lot of fun painting certain details on this Gundam. The articulation is honestly amazing considering how solid the model kit is. The hips are the best, with the dropping mechanism, but the shoulders have a part that tends to pop on me. It’s like two ball joints connected in a sequence like Witch From Mercury. When it comes to the accessories, the backpack is obviously awesome with all the movable gimmicks, and may be the star of the show for some people since it is compatible with the universal backpack adapter. Personally I also really like the shield, since it’s so large, unique, and cool. It’s noteworthy that the shield doesn’t mount onto the arm in any way out of box, but instead is meant to be equipped to the hand. At first I was confused by this choice, but the finished product is extremely solid, so it can hold up big accessories like this shield and other larger weapons with no problem. To compliment that, the wrist has a unique joint that allows you to pose the hand in varied ways to assist with posing the shield or weapons. You can even pull off the iconic “shooting from behind the shield” pose from 08th MS Team like in my picture.

Feels like a war machine
The product on my pictures was painted and top coated.This is among the best HG kits out there. The level of detail is adequate considering the artistic direction of the show, and if highlighted it elevates the model to a new level. The colour separation is almost perfect except for a small portion of the shield. The stickers are great. The edges are barely visible, and they really enhance the design. My only criticism is that the colour of the armour is not white, but grey. That’s why I decided to paint it.
