They work good I have a Members Mark grill and the originals were rusted and falling apart. nothing worked, so I replaced the battery igniter and all three of these Electrodes.. Now all work as good as new..

I installed these on a Sam's Club Member's Mark MONARCH04ALP (manufactured by Grand Hall in 2004). I specifically ordered these because the part numbers cross-referenced with the original manufacturer part numbers. They fit, but these ignitors do not come with the butterfly-shaped mounting bracket, so the bracket needs to be removed from the old ignitors and re-used and that is what made the installation difficult. The threaded tube/shaft on the original ignitors is not stainless steel, so they were very corroded and removing the bracket required soaking them in penetrating oil, and using a small hammer and punch to tap the tube/locking nut several times to break it loose so it could be un-threaded from the bracket. The bracket itself is stainless steel, so the threads were not damaged and it was easily re-used. I previously found some ignitors on Amazon from "BBQ Future" that come with the butterfly-shaped brackets and the electrical wires, but the part number didn't cross-reference and no exact size measurements were given, so I didn't order them. Now that I've removed the old ignitors, they appear to be exact replacements, even having identical holes in the gas collector (which the RCK ignitors don't have). However, like the original ignitors, the threaded tube/shaft on those is not stainless steel, it's just chrome-plated. Still, these would've been a better option to save time. The big advantage of the RCK ignitors is that the threaded tube/shaft is stainless steel. So, the RCK ignitors should be better in the long run even though they were more work to install the first time. These RCK ignitors do work fine after installing. If they had included the small butterfly-shaped brackets (which are included on the OEM part cross-reference), I would give them 5 stars.

These igniters are not stainless steel and rust. They will last for several years but if you have a "lifetime quality" grill you will have to replace them again.

The Members Mark Gas Grill SAMS Club Igniters works great. A lot better than my old ones.
