Excellent Medical Honey - Natural Effective Healing
This Improved Medihoney wound gel is an exceptional healing product that I keep in my first aid supplies. The medical-grade honey formulation provides natural antibacterial properties that support wound healing effectively. I've used this on minor cuts, scrapes, and burns with excellent results. The gel consistency applies smoothly and stays in place on wounds without running. It creates a moist healing environment which is ideal for proper wound repair. The honey-based formula is gentle and doesn't sting on application like some antiseptics. I appreciate that this is a natural approach to wound care with proven medical effectiveness. The 0.5 oz tube is a convenient size that's portable for travel or keeping in a first aid kit. The tube design makes dispensing easy and hygienic. The gel doesn't dry out wounds like some treatments which promotes faster healing. I've noticed reduced scarring when using this compared to letting wounds heal dry. The antibacterial properties provide confidence that wounds stay clean. For anyone wanting natural, effective wound care, this medical honey gel delivers professional-grade healing. Worth having on hand for everyday minor injuries.

Old formula was gold in a bottle
This stuff works magic. Concerned for a new formula. If you have the old stuff, use sparingly.

I usually heal ugly but the medi-honey seems to be helping my surgical incisions heal pretty.
Medihoney arrived within a week of ordering. I've been using it on my incisions from breast reduction surgery. The tubes are very small; the price point per ounce is quite a lot of money. I'm not complaining, I was just a little taken aback at the size, but this is by far the cheapest medi honey online, so I'm not complaining. A little bit of the honey compound covers all my incisions adequately and stays on until washed off (about two days). It forms a kind of flexible waterproof barrier against liquids like blood and other body fluids from wounds and acts as a healing ointment (like Derma-collidal cream or Neosporin) as well. It's too soon to confirm the widely touted miraculous properties of the honey, but I will say this: I usually take a long time to heal, and I heal ugly: the sores turn into reddish purple blemishes that last months and often go through smallish bouts of relapsed infection, whether it's a blister or a cut from a paring knife. But I am healing quite quickly, especially for such deep wounds in soft tissue, the wounds have closed in an unusually fast amount of time. I've read about Manuka honey for a while, so it's extremely interesting to observe it firsthand with my own body. I almost ordered the Comvita honey for my after surgery, I was under the mistaken impression that all Manuka honey could be used for wounds. It may be so that edible M. honey can be used effectively that way, but this honey is specifically medical honey. I am scheduled for another surgery in a couple of months and I think it would be very interesting to buy the edible Comvita honey and use that and the medihoney at the same time to compare healing effects.

Best Healing Ointment
Don't let the small size of this tube keep you from purchasing. They make a 1.5 oz size if you need a larger size. It's a powerhouse for healing so you don't need a lot. What I do is dispense a small amount and then use my finger in a circular motion to soften the product. That turns it into more of a cream which makes it go even further and makes application easier. I use it mostly on my face and it prevents any scarring or hyperpigmentation from bad reactions to products or when I overuse exfoliants and end up with burn type patches on my face. I also scratched my face twice badly with my nails taking off a sweater and when sleeping and it left no scar or mark. Work the product by spreading it and it will be easier to use. But it's worth it's weight in gold. The small tube makes it more affordable. Manuka honey is expensive because it's proven to work wound healing and beyond. This is medicinal quality. It needs to be thick to work for wounds.
