Excellent boots at not too much cost
Let me start with I hate buying new shoes. The whole process sucks. But the style of boots I've been wearing for almost 20 years was discontinued and I had to bite the bullet. I researched and read reviews until my eyes bled. I needed some very specific things out of my new boots. They needed to be supportive of my flat feet because I work on concrete floors most of the day. They needed to be water resistant because I work in a pool store. And they needed to be 8 inches tall with no zipper because I broke my ankle a while back and need the support there too. These Xpeti boots were the result of my search. I've been wearing them at work for a few days now and I could not be happier. The standard insoles are very comfortable, even with my flat feet and the concrete floor at work. The soles are non slip in the small puddles that accumulate. And the shanks are very supportive of my bad ankle, without having to lace them super tightly. So far, I'm very pleased with this purchase, especially since they were only mid range in price. I may update with durability as I wear them more, but for now, I highly recommend these boots. Edit 6/24/25 I've been wearing these for almost a month now, every single day. I'm still really pleased. They look brand new. I've spilled chemicals and water on them, climbed over buckets and pallets, and pushed mowed my ยผ acre yard in them twice. My one tiny, minor complaint is that they make my feet hotter than my old boots, but they're so comfortable otherwise that I can overlook it. Edit 12/4/25 Six months in and I still love these boots. I've worn them almost every day, 8-10 hours a day, and they remain super comfortable and looking practically brand new. Seriously. I just did an inspection and there's almost no visible wear, including on the soles. I tend to walk on the outside of my feet, and it's usually obvious in my shoes by now. There's still some of the pattern left on the tread of these. They continue to be supportive of my flat feet and bad ankle. As well as being warm, which is a bonus now that the weather is cold. I've worn them outside doing lawn maintenance and inside at work, plus whatever other walking around I'm doing. They are my go to shoes. I still cannot recommend them enough.

Great fit, lightweight and durable
I purchased the XPETI X-FORCE 8" boots looking for an affordable but reliable option for a high-country elk hunt, and they delivered far beyond their price point. The first crucial test was brutal: I had to hike over 10 miles in a single day, straight out of the box. As every experienced hiker knows, this is a major risk, especially in the mountains. I was fully prepared for hot spots and blisters, but they never appeared. The comfort and fit are truly exceptional, making the "no break-in period" claim completely accurate. This level of immediate comfort is rare, even in boots costing three times as much. Performance Highlights: Unrivaled Comfort: The internal cushioning and roomy fit ensured my feet were comfortable even with the high-mileage day and the stress of ascending and descending steep terrain. Stability: The 8" profile and rigid construction provided excellent ankle support, which is critical when navigating rocky slopes, shale, and downed timber with a pack. I felt secure and stable on highly uneven ground. Weight: super light The Verdict: painless, lightweight alternative to $300 -$500 boots. Buy!

Excellent Ankle Isolation and Long Lasting Support and NOT Waterproof
I spent six years in the Navy, 3 on an 8 story aircraft carrier, and my ankles are now pronated, so I must always wear boots to lace tightly around them. I have three pairs of Norvic boots that have been excellent. I am very pleased with the Norvic boots I also have leather Hanagal and two models of Nike boots. On average, walking 2-4 miles a day, I can put between 600-800 miles on the Norvic boots before they begin to break down. The Nike's began breaking down at around 400-500 miles and the Hangal's are still running strong after about 500 miles with no notable breakdown. The Hangals are also extremely comfortable. This boot is also very comfortable, but it's like wearing a ski boot compared to a more flexible leather boot. The construction is strong and I appreciate that I can pull the laces tight without completely pulling the sides of the boots together, meaning I can crank them down super tight. I would select this boot over the others for hard core hiking, through the woods or on uneven ground because your ankles will be 100% isolated, wrapped up and good to go. I currently only have about 50 miles on them and will update this review when I've had more time with them. If you want excellently ankle isolation/protection for hiking over rocks, etc., while having a comfortable fit, these will do it for you. Now we will see how long they last. Update, 3/14/25: The boots have held up extremely well and probably have 500 or so miles in them now. Out of all the boots I own, these are my goto boots for long walks. However, THEY ARE NOT WATER PROOF. If I take any water over the toe that rolls up to the laces, my right foot gets wet. Given my appreciation for the support these boots provide, this is extremely disappointing, because I need to be able to walk through 3-5" of water with water tight integrity. Great boots - just NOT water proof. Update, August 2025: These boots have kept their form far better than the other types I've used, and I've also noticed that the toe box is a bit larger compared to some of the other brands. If they were truly waterproof, I'd be in love, but they will take-on water, even when walking through wet grass or sloppy snow. Not a ton, but it doesn't take much to cause problems when it's around zero in Ohio. Still, an amazing boot and I will eventually order a newer set, but for now, other than water, these guys are still solid with a virtual ton of miles walked in them. Sept, 25: This is my last update for these boots. Mine were NOT waterproof, so even walking through => 6" wet grass has been enough to dampen your socks which can be dangerous depending on your environment. Beyond that critical weakness, they have exceeded expectations and, in terms of boot durability, they have been far superior to other brands because they do not allow my pronated ankles to permanently push the boot inward, as many do. They're heavy duty, will make *(# sure your ankles remain save in tough terrine, but mine were not waterproof from day 1, not even adhering to water resistant standards. I would order another pair tonight, but the Ohio winter is coming, things will get sloppy with ice and snow, but I will still walk my dogs 2-4 miles a day regardless, and having a waterproof boot means everything. I hope the manufacturer gets this point solved and I will update this "final" post if I should test another pair. Tom Elsasser New Albany, Ohio

Legendary Xpeti Boots
I love everything about these boots! They are not only lightweight, breathable, and look good, but they are also very well made. They are incredibly comfortable to walk in. I was in them doing some medium rough work for around 10 hrs, and had to walk around for another 4 hrs or so doing errands. My feet were still good, I was feeling some discomfort, but this was due to just being on my feet for over 12 hrs. I would have been in a lot more pain or discomfort if I didn't have these on. The heel and toe protection is clever because it's lightweight hard materials. Everything on them is well made, durable, and lightweight. These boots are seriously THE BEST boots you can buy, especially for the price. I have some seriously comfortable Under Armour Boots that go for around $180 retail and they don't offer any toe protection or heel protection. These are half of those UA Boots! The only way you are going to find any boots that are comparable to this kind of quality, is if you are spending $200+ or more. Even Wolverine, any of their stuff that would compare you are spending at least $150. That might be the brand closest to these for a good price. All around with how well these boots are made, I've never seen such a all around amazing design that offers the comfort and protection that you need out of a boot. Especially if you have a rough Independent Contracting job, Retail, or Military/Law Enforcement job where you are standing or on your feet all day. Thank you Xpeti! If you need another worker to design or take your boots to the next level, I'm your guy! Lol.

Great boots
These boots are ultralight compared to my Danner's...so I'm skeptical about how long they'll last. Very comfortable, and as I said, very light weight. If they hold up for at least a year, I will be thoroughly impressed! Will update review prn.

These are great!
I read water meters for a utility so lots of walking in various environmental conditions and terrain from sidewalks to steep hills. I have to say these are better then the Keens I have been wearing that only seem to last me about 6 months before I need a new pair. They are close to the same weight as well. So far: Cons: I had to replace the boot inserts, the ones that came with them had some issues. Update: On wet days the toe box does not breath as well, insides will get wet and stay wet from sweat. unless you have a boot drier or use newspaper stuffed inside the boot. That's it, the rest is positive, Pros: They held up to three days of atmospheric river, feet stayed dry They feel like they are insulated because my wool socks get a bit hot, so I don't think these will work for me in the summer months The cut heal is great, no stumbling while I get use to new boots also no break in, they are ready to go out of the box Great ankle support The shank in the sole is great for holding meter lids up while I get the read The way the soles are I feel as though it helps me walk faster then before great impact resistance helps soften the blow to my knees when I step on a tree root or curb My feet feel great after a 8 mile day compared to other boots Ive worn So far the construction and materials used are strong and well put together to make a tough boot that feels like a running shoe.

Comfortable But Breaking Down by 6 months
These were super comfortable boots! They felt pretty sturdy and worked pretty well when walking through snow. However, I did expect much more out of the duration of these boots especially with all the positive reviews. After around 6 months, the cushion on the bottom started getting worn down and the backs of the inside parts of the boots were starting to split, with the left boot having a tear down practically the height of the boot; this left a sharp piece of the boot revealed, which started cutting into the back of my heel. Overall, comfortable but I'm really disappointed with the quality :(

Excellent Boot.
For such a low price I'm very impressed with the well build and durability of these boots. They support your feet, don't need to be broken in, and get excellent traction. I'm in rough terrain working Outside everyday. Through mud, rocks, water, etc. I spray water repellent on them weekly and don't get wet feet. Cleaned up they are very stylish as well. I always wear coyote brown so these fill the Bill. They are a dream to slide off and on, unlike many other brands, so honestly you don't need a side zipper.
