While the Fish Oil has some scent and a bit of flavor, it is definitely more subtle than most brands I have tried. Fish oil is one of those things that is very hard to mask, but extremely necessary for brain development. The package arrived intact, though the bottle was dented. Several notices in the well-wrapped package explained that this was normal and did not affect the product. Taking the time for those extras is why I rate this 5 stars. Review: Very mild flavor. Can be used as cooking oil (keep the heat on low to middle range) - I tried the carnivore diet but didn’t want to cook everything in butter or chicken/beef fat/or similar fat. It works well for cooking, but will smoke around the same temperature as olive oil.
