Bought this for my wife to replace an older steam iron which was past its best! She is delighted with this Russell Hobbs steam iron and finds it easy to use and very effective.

Lightweight, compact, stores away nicely. Works very well. Very happy with the product.

A bit disappointed with the performance of this generator iron,not as powerful as my old one which lasted for eleven years.It's a pain having to wait for the steam to come through and not much of it! Only used this once but will have to adjust to it.Light to handle and well made for the price.Would have given five stars ifcthe steam had been better.

Excellent product and great value for money. Pity the delivery driver decided to leave it on my doorstep for all to see without knocking even though I was home all day.

Decent machine. Only problem is make sure filter is in lock position.It was not locked when arrived and when used the steam pressure forced the water reservoir out with quite a force.once locked the machine worked perfectly.

When I started to research Steam Generator irons the price gap was incredible, ranging from £60 to £500 depending on brand! This really left me in the thought process, the sub £100 bracket should be avoided! However after reviewing the bank balance in the Covid-19 world I opted for this one! All I can say this iron packs one mighty punch. The iron generates generous amounts of steam, the water tank is huge and pretty much lasts a full basket, the iron gets blistering hot, pretty much everything you need in a iron! I like the fact it can be stored upright too! Also the iron comes with an additional 12 months warranty if you register the warranty, so you will have peace of mind for under £100 you will have a decent working iron for at least 2 years! For a fair and balanced review my only negatives are that the rubber clips that hold the iron in place when not in use could be tighter, the iron easily becomes loose when knocked, the steam isn’t instantaneous and you have to wait 1 second every time you push the steam button. However in fairness to Russell Hobbs, would I pay another £100+ to achieve a instantaneous steam output? Absolutely not as in my opinion! In all honestly each item takes 30 seconds to iron anyway! Well done Russell Hobbs!!!
