Keep shopping, skip this one.
Mr Coffee Kettle autopsy report/review. Two months in, and the lid has begun heartily rusting, as has the upper lip of the kettle. Replacing it with a half price Walmart electric kettle. Does this hold water without leaking? Yes, one star. Does this heat water? Yes, one more star. Durability? Nope. Insulated handle? Not unless you're a restaurant hot plate server. So, nope. Worth the money? Absolutely not. Scroll on to another kettle, this one is a waste of time and money.

Poor workmanship. LEAKS!!
Kettle started to leak from the bottom seal. Of course it’s 20 days beyond the return period! Poor workmanship!
