NOT AIRTIGHT AS STATED!
I love Mackenzie Child items. But I finally splurged on this cookie jar that I’ve been eyeing for years. The description stated that it was airtight, but the lid came with no gasket, leaving it open to the air and stale cookies. For $90 I was surprised to find this to be the case. I can get an airtight glass cookie jar for a fraction of the price, so this is going back unfortunately.

Cute but overpriced
I love this cookie jar it's so adorable the only thing I don't like the seam that it has on the glass down the center usually you see this with cheep glass for the price I expected better, in addition it doesn't have a seal for freshness or to keep it air tight it's just glass on metal. Also the cap is loose definitely over priced for the quality. I gave it four stars because eit is pretty only
