Bottom line: This IS the best protector for ultrasonic fp scanner phones. Skill is just necessary.
So as you can see, I got a 100% perfect install on my first try with the first protector. It never seems hard until you open that UV resistant bag with one of those $13 films in it that you only have two of. Then the pressure kicks in and the anxiety. However, I installed this in under a minute with another 3 minutes of curing time, I have probably 8 years of experience installing specifically White Stone dome screen protectors, I've always had Samsung flagships so ever since I believe my S8 Plus, I have used nothing but Whitestone since Samsung was always extremely curved screen from that point forward. Now that the 24 Ultra basically a flat screen with 2.5 d curved glass, I decided to try the top few rated glass screen protectors again since nothing really can touch the feeling of glass especially good glass. Yes it was nice but I'll tell you right now it is not worth the struggle with the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. I don't care what glass you get by what brand, none of it matters. All that matters is the distance that the glass creates between the sensor and your finger, that's what creates the problem in the first place and you really have no idea how insanely bad it is until you either go bare screen, or start using these UV films. Even the Whitestone dome UV glass creates some false readings with fingerprint. It's just an inherent problem with glass screen protector since they need to be a certain thickness to provide any protection at all to the screen. This film is by far the best protection and quality you can get for your s24 Ultra without sacrificing even 1% of your fingerprint scanning ability. White stones film is truly the only UV film that will actually feel like glass, the rest of them are acceptable but either have a bit of sponginess or the second anything catches any corner or side of the protector, it's coming right off. That's not the case with the Whitestone UV film, there adhesive and just overall quality of the films they use are always a step ahead of everyone else. Even this film that generally doesn't have any oleophobic coating, has better oliophobic coating then the $30 sheet of one piece of glass I was just using that literally rendered my fingerprint scanner unusable 100% of the time. The biggest issue and why these are rated so low is because of the enormous difference in skill it takes to put this on versus slapping a plastic guide on your phone and throwing a piece of glass on it and the glass does the work itself. Whitestone could have included a better system to guide the film but technically there is nothing wrong with the method they provide. You need to take your time and you really need to keep a dust removal sticker on one of the tips of your offhand fingers this way at any point during the process of you actually using the card to apply the film to the phone and you see a piece of dust just stop right there but don't remove pressure from the film and kind of maneuver your offhand finger with the sticker grab the piece of dust then continue applying. I was able to do mine without a single speck of dust literally sitting in front of my pellet stove in my home built in 1865 that I guarantee has more dust then anybody that gave this less than five stars. A good trick I was taught but no longer you since these are now pretty easy for me, go into the bathroom and put your shower on as hot as it can go and let it steam your bathroom out for 10 minutes or so with the door shut then go in and turn your shower off and do your install in the bathroom with the steam. It will create a humid environment that equals a dust free environment. That used to be the only way I did these until I was used to them. The line everybody complains about is definitely there but not as big of a deal as it's made out to be. I had to spend five minutes getting the perfect lighting using my s23 ultra camera which we all know is an amazing camera to get that one picture of the line in the screen and you absolutely cannot even faintly see it with the screen on. After about 2 hours after your installation, the line will be pretty much gone if you've done everything correctly. DON'T OVER CURE THE PROTECTOR! Follow the instructions it's 60 seconds on the top, 60 in the middle and 60 at the bottom and that's it. If you over cure it, you will cure that line permanent to the screen protector and it will not heal itself and disappear over time. This was a long review but hopefully somebody gains some insight into how and why these will always be the best protector for any phone that utilizes and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Whitestone does need to do a better job with securing their package as my application card which is obviously essential to the process was so badly bent that it was literally in the shape of a U and completely useless.

Center line not going away, amazon refused a refund
Updated after exchange Well two films come with this pack and they have some pros and a deal breaking con. There is a good how to video, do not do this if you are not used to installing them or anywhere near hair or dust. Fortunately I repair phones so these are second nature to me. Pros The thin film that cures to a glass like feel that is unmatched by any film I am aware of. Clarity is impeccable. Works great with finger print, touch and S pen features. Install is easy with guides. No residue after removal. Did not interfere with case. Size was almost perfect. Cons Expensive for film Zero room for error or contaminants during install or you will destroy the film. One chance install, no peeling back or repositioning if you are off by even a little. A center line crease is visible and on two film installs failed to even slightly fade after 5 days of use on both films The center crease distorts pixels and is very annoying and extremely noticeable during media playback, games or any text with white background. It's not to bad during text use in dark mode. This film can have 100 more pros and be triple the quality and fit perfect and cover every inch of the phone but that centerline is unbearable and defeats the purpose of spending money and a "high end" screen protector. So the 5 stars I would gi e these films is reduced to 1 star. I exchanged this to give them one more chance , one film showed up contaminated with debris, the other one still has a not even close to fading crease, if that doesn't bother you and you are very good at installs this product if not go for a glass film

Almost perfect for scratch resistance
First off, a film screen protector like this is inferior to a tempered glass when it comes to impact resistance and crack prevention. I wanted something for my S23 Ultra to prevent micro scratches you might get from everyday use, such as brushing against a metal button as you place your phone in your jeans pocket. Anyways, this film is definitely one of the top ones you can get, but it isn't perfect. The feel is great; very rigid, almost just like glass so it works great with the S Pen. It's not mushy like the TPU films. The installation is a really nice process that allows for a high rate of success for properly lined up installs. The only problem is that it causes a horizontal crease in the center of the screen. Instructions say this will go away in a few days. It's been a few days and mine is still present. It isn't that bad, however, and I can certainly live with it. The only other thing is that I might prefer the front camera to be covered as well, rather than the cutout. Seems to be extremely case friendly, so you shouldn't have to worry about compatibility. Overall a really solid screen protector, would highly recommend!

Ensure Right Version
This is a really nice screen protector I drop my phone off then and have note issues with this protector and I have another liquid screen protector underneath it as well. They worked well together. And i've had no issues using my phone with both protectors. The video and written instructions Make for an easy installation. There is a QR Code on the package that leads you to both also very easy. Some of the wording is awkward and/or off if you are listening or reading in english, but. With the pictures and what's written, One can decipher what is meant. Definitely read andor watch the videos prior to installation. I did not and while I was able to get the protector on without much issue.A lot of the little things I spend time correcting wouldn't have been if I had done it correctly. Be sure to get the correct size or version for the Type and version of phone that you have, I have an S23 Ultra. And purchase in S23 protector it still works on the screen. It just doesn't cover the entire screen. Due to the being different sizes.

Easy install, fingerprint easily recognized, smooth as glass
I've owned Glaxy Notes (and the S2x successors) since the Note 10. I have always wanted a glass scren protector because of the curved screen and the desire to extra protection from drops, since the glass protector will usually break before the screen is damaged. For that I've gone with Whitestone Dome for it's complete adhesion. With theS23 Ultra's smaller curve and more cases that have side lips that extend slightly past the screen, I decided to try Whitestone Dome's UV Gen film protector. I could not have been happier! The install is fairly easy. It requires an extra step than other film protectors, but I think that's a positive. After cleaning the screen you lay the film on the phone using the included tools. That first application is tacky, which I think helps pick up any dust that may have found its way onto the screen. The rest of the install is easy plus the UV light to finish application. Once the install is completed, here are my findings: - Fingerprint reader is flawless. After registering my fingerprint again, I have not have any problems with the phone recognizing my fingerprint. By comparison, I have always found glass protectors to never easily recognized my fingerprint. Either my finger is too dry or I have to press harder. - Protector is smooth as glass - I was concerned that being a film protector, it would have that soft rubbery feel. But I have not experienced any of that. It doesn't feel like rubber, nor does it feel like a plastic screen protector. The S-pen doesn't leave any marks on the protector. Just quality. - Slight line across the middle - This is the only downside, but I barely notice it. There is a slight line across the middle of the protector, from how the install works. You cannot feel the line or seam, but it may be slightly visible on an all white screen. But as I said, you cannot feel it and barely see it. This would not stop me from using this screen protector. Case friendly. I'm using the screen protector on a UAG case and there is no interference between the screen protector and the case. So I'm sure it should be fine for most, if not all, cases. Very happy with the screen protector and will be my go to for future phones.

some edge peel, no scratch, ? almost compatible with MOUS 5.0 (read below). good customer service
Update #2 Back to 3 stars Barely 6 months later the l edge completely peeled off of my S23 ultra. No change in case, no trauma, nothing. Just one day it peeled off. Still somewhat functional, but for sure I'll need to buy a new one. I would stay away from this for phones with curved edges, just because of the glue. The actual protector is fantastic, it feels almost like glass and had zero dents over the 6 months. I would actually just stay away from phones with curved edges, it's a shame Samsung decided to keep this stupid design for their flagship while changing it to the much more functional straight screen for lower models. It may be that the case edge is just too close to the screen protector and with a bit of flex it pushes it off the screen but I'm not giving up this case, it's fantastic! update: Since my initial 2 star review, Whitestone contacted me by email and offered to send me another pair to try. I wanted a refund from Amazon, but in the process you are asked to return the item (?!) there was not much to return but the lamp - both protectors curled up from the screen shortly after application. So i agreed to try a third time and this time - maybe the one I got from Whitestone is fresher and the glue stuck a bit better? will see in a few days if it lifts off like the original ones I got from Amazon. I can't tell any difference in the box content and there is no marking to tell the date of manufacture. I gave this one an extra cure cycle, maybe that makes a difference. The line never completely disappears, but it becomes much less visible and I guess you get used to it too, beyond the first day of use. I'll add back a star. My suspicion that the screen will completely come off did not pan true, the peel stopped at the curved edge and never advanced (probably more due to the raised lip of MOUS case) The protector smudges easily, but it wipes really well and there is no issue with the fingerprint, works close to 100% of the time for me. Hard to say how much impact protection you get from it - I've been babying this expensive phone - but zero scratches in about 2 mo of use and the screen itself on S23 ultra is supposed to be really hard to crack, but easy to scratch, so such a PET protector is a plus and I'll add another star. I have to say, compared to the TPU protectors that I had before on other phones, experience is really similar to the original screen without a protector. Given the advantages that became apparent since my first experience, I will upgrade to 4 stars - the customer service, the zero incidental scratches (I bet you can intentionally scratch it with something) and no early curling on third try. If it curls again I will update my review Original review titled "rainbow line in the middle and NOT compatible with MOUS 5.0 limitless (lifting)": <line in the middle is beyond annoying, maybe it will go away in a few days. everything looked otherwise great until about 1 h into use, when parts covering the curved edge lifted off the phone. it's not catching the finger because the case is hefty, but I expect this will peel off in a few days DON't waste your money, look somewhere else!>

Worth the Extra Money
I’ve tried so many screen protectors over the years, and they all seem to fail in one way or another—peeling edges, dust sneaking in, or just not lasting long enough. But the Whitestone Dome Glass UV GEN Film Screen Protector has completely changed the game for me. It’s hands down the best screen protector I’ve ever used, and it’s absolutely worth the extra money. The UV adhesive installation is what really sets this protector apart. The liquid adhesive spreads evenly across the screen and is cured with the included UV light, creating a perfect seal. This means no dust gets trapped under the edges, and the protector stays firmly in place without peeling or lifting over time. It’s been weeks since I installed it, and it still looks flawless—no bubbles, no dust, no issues at all. Another thing I love is how durable it is. Most screen protectors I’ve used in the past start to scratch or crack after a few months, but this one is holding up beautifully. The 9H hardness rating gives me confidence that my screen is well-protected from scratches and everyday wear and tear. The clarity and touch sensitivity are also top-notch. It feels just like using the bare screen, with no loss in responsiveness or display quality. Plus, the installation kit makes the process surprisingly easy, even for someone like me who usually struggles with applying screen protectors. Why it’s worth it: Perfect seal: No dust or peeling edges, thanks to the UV adhesive. Long-lasting durability: 9H hardness protects against scratches and cracks. Crystal-clear display: No loss in screen clarity or touch sensitivity. Easy installation: The included UV light and kit make it simple to apply. I’ve wasted so much money on cheaper screen protectors that constantly needed replacing, but with the Whitestone Dome Glass, I don’t have to worry about that anymore. It lasts much longer, protects better, and looks amazing. If you’re tired of dealing with subpar screen protectors, this one is absolutely worth the investment.
