Crystal Yoyo K3 Aurora-p, Responsive Yo-yo for Kids 8-12, Pro Finger Spin Trick Yo yo for Advanced, with Unresponsive Bearing with 12 Strings + Square Storage Bag (Dark Green)

This is a great plastic yoyo. It is made of ABS, which is somewhat unique for a yoyo material. It's a little heavy at 68 grams, but it has great spin time, power and stability due to the heavily weighted rims and is a huge upgrade from the K2 in those regards. It glows very brightly when using a black light. The case and strings it comes with are very nice. I did find mine to be quite slippy when using the unresponsive bearing, but that's just something I can adjust for. The yoyo is a great starter yoyo with the ability to change from responsive to unresponsive and is very durable and a very good value of a yoyo. It's also a great finger spin yoyo with the very concave catch areas and dimples. I'm a little disappointed with the width as a significant portion of the outer width is only for rim weight and doesn't count as trapeze width, which if more of the width was trapeze width, it would probably have a larger diameter, more power, and be more catchable. The ratio of trapeze width to total width takes a bit of getting used to coming from other yoyos in my collection.

So my grandson is seven and trying to learn how to yo-yo and this was a great buy. We learned that some yo-yos retract back easier than other others and so this yo-yo turned his frustration in into a fun

My 9-year-old son absolutely loves this yo-yo! The glow-in-the-dark feature is such a fun bonus—when we leave it in the sun, it lights up into a bright neon green that looks really cool at night. We also really appreciated the extras, like the carrying case, additional strings, and screws. It’s nice having everything you need included. Honestly, I had to make him put it down just so it could recharge in the sunlight for nighttime play—that’s how much he enjoys it! I’ll even admit, I found myself wanting one too. Definitely a fun and worthwhile purchase!

This is a better yoyo than the K2 Crystal. It performs better, finger spinns better, is more stable and more fun to play. It performs almost as well as a Replay Pro. If you have a K2 or were thinking of a K2 buy one of these. If you like plastic yoyos like the First Base, and the Replay Pro, this one performs about or almost as well with that additional finger spin dimple. Also I have seen that some first base models (the dinosaur line up) have had strange reactions where the plastic melted when in proximity to....something, and I did not see the same thing happen to K2s bought at the same time and kept in the same place. So I would say all in all the K3 Aurora is overall better than the First Base.

I ordered this for my grandson. He picked it out and hasn’t put it down since he got it.It comes with a nice little case to keep everything together and some extra strings very much worth the price.
