A: Original controller uses a constant power supply design, with about 1mA limited.

**Q: Is the resolution of the TMR joystick much higher than Hall effect joysticks?**
A: No. For controllers, the bandwidth of these three types is sufficient. The resolution mainly depends on the sampling precision of the backend MCU

**Q: Is the power consumption of the TMR joystick much lower than the Hall joystick?**
A: If just the sensor, TMR is lower.

**Q: Why AKNES TMR is not compatible with Xbox Elite/Xbox One?**
A: Because there are no good softwares/tools available to perform joysticks calibration.

**Q: Are these TMR joysticks reliable?**

The perfect replacement for a PS5 controller with stick drift. I've previously used both standard ALPS replacement joysticks, which are doomed to suffer with drift again eventually and the cheap Hall Effect sticks with a calibration pcb which can be somewhat of a nightmare to get perfect.Replacement is straightforward for someone with semi-decent soldering skills, the calibration process simply requires any PC with a chromium based browser, go to the calibration site, spin the sticks and you're left with zero drift and fantastic circularity.

After having tried the black ones, I thought I'd give these a try in a different controller.Using a desoldering tool, I directly swapped out both modules and replaced them with these. Smooth as silk, both installation and use wise. Not for the feint hearted granted, but with a lot of patience and a little learning, these will make gaming sessions definitely last longer.
