This is my first pickleball paddle that I bought, prior to this I was always using the (not so good) ones supplied by the leisure centre so I have limited points for comparison. However, I must say this paddle is a at least a 5x upgrade over those. In terms of weight it is very well balanced and the quality is very good. I attempted to play around with adding the supplied weights but I realised what you gain in power, you lose in speed at the kitchen for those quick exchanges. The default weight is great and would recommend most beginners to not add the additional weights but of course everyone is different. This is a 16mm thickness paddle and again I think this will suit most people. In practice it means it is thicker than the other standard thickness of 13mm. There’s a trade off between the two; the 13mm allows for more power at the cost of forgiveness, sweet spot size, and overall control. I think most beginner-intermediate players would benefit from more control over power, which makes this paddle a good choice. For the price, this paddle is great value for money and quite a few of the more advanced players I play with have this paddle and they seem to like it. It did take me a bit to get used to the bigger sweet spot and thickness of this paddle and I reigned in my power serves at first but I have now got used to it and have benefitted most at the ‘soft game’ and the biggest improvement has been that my returns consistently go over the net. Some advanced players forgot their paddles one week and used the leisure centre ones and they were hitting the net far more than usual, so anyone who says that a good paddle won’t make you a better player is only half-right. This alone has made the paddle 5 stars for me. I would especially recommend this as a first paddle for beginners-intermediates.

Recently got into pickle ball with a few colleagues and this is by far the best paddle for a beginner who’s looking to really get into it! Weight and size are perfect for someone who’s getting used to the ‘sweet spot’ and at the price it’s very good value for longevity with the carbon fibre keeping life for a very long time!

This is the second paddle I’ve bought - the first one caved in after just 3 games as the core was just corrugated cardboard, but this one’s a different animal! The amount of spin you can get with this bat is insane! The customisation options with the adhesive weights results in superb feel and control on every shot, whether hammering a topspin drive low over the net or dropping in a delicate dink. Whatever level you’re at as a pickleball player this is sure to improve your game and I highly recommend you look no further when choosing which paddle to purchase.

Whilst I am (not yet) an expert, I think this is a good paddle: It is light (222gr), it is actually slightly quieter than other mid-range priced paddles, but I cannot yet judge its relative power, control, and the size of its sweet spot. What I find misleading is the fact that it is described as having a thickness of 16mm and even caries an inscription on the paddle surface of '16mm', when infact it is 20mm thick, which includes a 1mm edge on each side, which still leaves 18mm thickness of the actual paddle, and therefore it looks quite chunky compared to other paddles. Perhaps it is the carbon fibre core, that has a thickness of 16mm? In retrospect, the photos supplied suggest that it is quite thick. but not qualifying the '16mm' label is misleading.

I'm a novice player, but very happy with this paddle. the handle is quite long though.

My first introductory paddle as a beginner to pickleball. I like the chunky handle and carbon face for control and feel. The weight is perfect for me. As I start to improve I might look to upgrade, but this was recommended by our pickle coach as a great place to start. Excellent value for money

Ho iniziato a giocare qualche partitella di pickleball con amici ed utilizzavo una delle racchette a disposizione della struttura, che però spesso erano crepate o sbeccate, compromettendone l'efficacia. Pur non essendo un professionista ho deciso di prendermi la mia così da avere uno strumento migliore e la differenza si è subito sentita. La racchetta viene venduta con alcuni accessori quali una custodia, nastro per l'impugnatura (oltre a quello già applicato), dei pesetti adesivi ed una gomma per la pulizia della superficie. La racchetta è in fibra di carbonio, molto leggera e leggermente ruvida sulla superficie, molto comoda per i colpi ad effetto. Pur non essendo un gran giocatore, con questa mi sono trovato subito bene ed ho incrementato il livello dei colpi riuscendo a giocare meglio a favore di partite più affiatate. Non posso fare una recensione tecnica perchè non ho metri di paragone nè la so utilizzare come i pro, però visti i prodotti in vendita sul sito ho trovato il giusto compromesso fra costo e qualità. Si perchè da una parte c'erano le racchette economiche, non in carbonio, da poche decine di euro, adatte ai principianti e dall'altra quelle professionali da centinaia di euro. Questa si posizionava in una fascia subito sopra quelle economiche pur avendo specifiche sulla carta di uno o due livelli sopra, presa in offerta per me è stata la scelta migliore. Ovviamente lo strumento non rende lo sportivo un mago, io vengo da un livello base di tennis che mi dà le basi del gioco e dei colpi, se pur molto differente come tipo di gioco e risposta delle palline, però riesco a giocare partitelle decenti con punteggi equilibrati con amici che fanno questo sport da mesi. Forse una racchetta base ed economica avrebbe fatto lo stesso lavoro, ma sicuro ho trovato molte differenze con quelle a disposizione di tutti e un po' maltrattate. Pienamente soddisfatto!

So far so good, this paddle has spin and control. The grip is excellent and for the price works as well if not better than my Selkirk raw carbon paddle. The weights it comes with I tried didn't work for me, took them off ,they are reusable. Like the erazor that came with it and cover. The weight is perfect for me and has good around sweat spot.
