Best foam cutter I've used
So far so good, the best hot wire foam cutter I've ever used in 15 years of foam carving. I used to use woodland scenic's but getting replacement wire was such a pain, having an extra spool of additional wire come with this as well as a travel bag with different attachments is just an added bonus. Unbelievable heat on the end of the wire so please take huge precaution.

Not recommended. An exact-o knife cut better
First off, I believe I received a returned product since the bag it came it was wrapped with tape and upon opening the case, everything was out of place. I suppose it could also be that the items inside are so flimsy that they did not stay in their areas. Secondly, I did not have the best experience with this kit. I tried using the one with the wire attachment as well as the straight prong. The wire attachment would cut better but then it would bounce back and ultimately not leave a clean cut but rather a jagged one. The straight prong would get stuck and burn the image.My exact-o knife saved my project.

This thing cuts foam like butter!!! I bought it to carve foam blocks to make Halloween decorations and it worked AMAZING! it heats up in seconds. The wire is kind of flimsy and breaks easy but they include a whole roll for you.
