How wide can the window be for the window mount kit to accommodate ?

The window mount without the extension is 26.6''. However with the extension the range is 37.4'' to 50'' inches. If your window is larger that 26.6 but smaller than 37.4, like mine, the window mount will not work as designed. You would either have to cut the extension or fill in a gap with something.

How many watts does it use on high setting?

Divide 110 volts by about 900 watts and that’s the amps. So about 12 amps.

Does this unit have a drain hose that must be run outside in addition to the vent hose?

My unit is currently being replaced as a defective unit but it came with a clear drain hose which does not fit so that it will not attach to the unit in order to leave it draining into a bucket. I have put in a customer support request to Pyle Support about this. I also asked a question here on Amazon for this unit about the drain hose not fitting the drain hole outlet and no one has responded to my question as of yet.

How many decibels is it at low and at high settings?

im reading 69 dB standing about 10 ft from this unit...pretty loud for an office but it does the job. 12k BTU unit
