The bracket is a piece of bent steel with three very large holes in it so if you are going to attach it to a wall you will probably need to use three bolts otherwise the bracket may twist (and you will need pennywashers under the screws because of the large size of the holes) but that it does is due to the good build quality making it a rather heavy lamp, probably for heat dissipation.I bought it for decorating/DIY as the strong light shows up any defects in the work, thus it needs to move from room to room so I made up a small stand out of waste bits of 6 x 1 inch wood and attached the lamp to the top of that which makes it portable and stable, I previously had a chargeable 20W LED that had a self-supporting stand but it wasn't very stable and that light never quite recovered from falling in a water tank.Anyway, this light seems well built (bracket apart) and gives a very bright light and as set up is going to be very useful. If you are going to use it outside be aware that the cable is not that long and if you want to put the cable through a hole in a wall it will have to be detached at the LED end as the plug is moulded on to the cable, have not tried that so can't comment on how easy it is. Someone else mentioned that the colour of the wires is non-standard, BTW. If you have to get an electrician to sort it out (UK laws say you do if used outside) then it becomes a very expensive light. Despite all this, I gave it five stars down to the apparent build quality and power of the light. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good replacement for tungsten bulb lights *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 21 May 2020* My set of twin head work lights had tungsten bulbs in them, which weren't the most reliable of things for lasting a long time in actual use. They were bright of course, but they got VERY hot and always seemed to burn out far quicker than they really should. Even expensive bulbs were not much better I found. So seeing the cost of a full new set using LED heads, I bought these LED lights separately and replaced the tungsten bulb lights on the original stand.The holes in the new brackets that the LED lights use is very oversized for easy mounting to the old stand, so I used small washers as spacers to make it very easy to then mount the new lights to the old stand (which was in as new condition) So a new stand wasn't needed in my own case, just the lights themselves. If you need the stand for use 'on site', then by all means go for the whole kit in one go.The lights are very powerful and I have no hesitation in recommending them for use, you can even use them one at a time if needed, as they have their own power lead so a twin socket extension has proven useful I have found.I highly recommend these lights if you need to light up a work area at night, or for use to light up a patio etc. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ beware non standard wiring *by J***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 17 February 2019* Very good value light. Used it to replace a 10w led equivalent which wasn't quite bright enough. This is a floodlight so the light thrown out tends to be in a larger area as opposed to the spotlight option where you can direct the light to a specific area.This is why you need to buy a higher wattage equivalent than a spotlight.I mounted this on a wall mounted flood light adjustable swivel bracket purchased here on Amazon for maximum directional options. This gives you vertical and horizontal adjustment, great!I will drop a star on this as my set up required the cable to be installed into a weather proof box to meet my mains wiring so I needed to remove the ( sealed ) 3 pin plug. Warranty now invalid! Beware, the colour coding is not UK/EU standard. ( it is wired for the US )They are black,white and green. I contacted the seller who advised .the black is live, white isNeutral and green is earth.
