iOSAT Potassium Iodide Tablets, 130 mg (14 Tablets each) - 10 packs

It is what it says it is... 130mg iodine tablets that are great to have on hand (especially when you live 20 miles from an air force base...) and that you hope to heck you never have to use. iOSAT is one of the only government approved suppliers of these iodine tablets, which are designed to protect your thyroid in case of nuclear fallout (failed nuclear reactor, ala Fukushima, or a bomb, or whatever...). There are a LOT of different companies that make these emergency iodine tablets, but they are not all created equal. Personally, I wouldn't touch the knock offs since these are govt approved. And, at just over $6 each in the 10 packs, they are already cheaper than most of the knock offs. Don't bother buying these on ebay, because they are cheaper here.

Receive them on time or before then

Anxiously awaiting the new product. Bought these on 2/23/22 right when I saw Russia Invaded the Ukraine. Figured I’d take the time to get gas for the car and buy these tablets that night. Woke up the next day and they sold out indefinitely. It just takes one mistake in these proxy wars between nuclear nations for the world to change. Be prepared, this 10 pack gives a family of 4 a month to get away from a nuclear event if they survive the initial explosions/leak. It Switzerland they still have bomb shelters and these pills in almost every house. It’s not crazy to be prepared; however, lots of crazy terrorists, organizations, leaders, and nations out there.

They arrived quickly in good condition.

Arrived promptly, and well worth the money. Unfortunately just one of the 10 sleeves was missing its pills (see photo) — likely a problem from manufacturer. All have 2030 expiration and appear in good shape. Hoping not to find out the flavor, but can’t speak to that.

I mean, you won't know until well after a nuclear event if these things are actually legit and do what they're supposed to do, but I have no reason to believe they're not authentic. The expiration dates are reasonably far out on the lot I received. Good purchase.

So impressed. I was worried about getting older stock but I got newer stock than stated. Not 2024 but 2028. Hope we never have to use anywhere ever.

Hopefully we will never need this but it is a simple and effective way to avoid one of the most deadly and common cancers after a nuclear disaster. There is a low probability but extremely high reward if it is ever needed. For the price and space it takes, every family should have a supply handy.
