I was unfamiliar with the Sylvox brand and was a little apprehensive about paying the premium for an outdoor TV from an unknown brand. However, Sylvox has demonstrated outstanding customer support after my purchase and significantly boosted my confidence in their products. The original unit that arrived from Amazon seemed to have some damaged backlighting at the edges of the screen, causing a bright glow in those areas (especially noticable with dark pictures). After reading other comments here praising Sylvox support, I sent them images of the issue I was seeing (via email), and with very little back and forth, they shipped a replacement unit to me (without waiting on return of the first unit). This next unit arrived (via FedEx) with a suspicious hole in the box right in the middle of the TV screen area. I took pictures and shared with Sylvox support and they advised to try the new unit and report back. Unfortunately, the replacement had been shattered during shipment, but when I reported back to Sylvox, they promptly dispatched *another* replacement (using a new shipping carrier). This 3rd unit seems to be fine. No backlight issues. Outstanding picture, especially when paired with an Apple TV 4K. The TV itself seems well built, with an all metal exterior case and clear weather proofing. The picture is very bright and we have no problem seeing it during full daylight. Overall, the TV is generally what I expected, but the customer support is MUCH better than expected! Highly recommended for the customer support alone. A rarity on Amazon or anywhere these days.

Sylvox TV has been good replacement for the Sunbright TV that died after only 4 years. Same size TV for half the price. Good brightness and clear picture. The only knock is the support has been half-hearted at best. All I need my Logitech Harmony remote to do is turn it on and off, as everything else is done by the AV receiver. No matter what I tried, the remote could not consistently turn the TV on and off. I tried to contact their support, and was told to buy a cheap universal remote that “might” work. I replied asking for additional assistance, but that message and subsequent followups were ignored. I then tried the same exercise with a Sofa Baton remote and hub. I contacted the Sofa Baton support and they attempted to reach out to Sylvox for assistance in controlling their TV and also received nothing. Disappointed in that, but for the price it is an excellent TV for our screen porch.

The TV has a great picture and is bright enough to see even though its sunny.

This is totally false advertising. It is not a smart TV. It only supports Netflix and YouTube videos. It does not even support YouTube TV. Very difficult to use the primary remote control won’t work. Don’t buy this TV or any TV manufactured by this company. Please send me a remote that works.

I purchased this TV back on July 12th 2022. I was quite pleased with the very good picture quality during the day in the sun. At night the picture quality is outstanding. I had an issue with the TV malfunctioning. It was still under warrantee and Sylvox immediately addressed the issue and sent me a replacement 2023 model. They also arranged for the return of the TV to their factory in Canada. I want to specifically thank Maggie at Sylvox for making the entire process stress free and for her excellent customer service. I would recommend Sylvox products for anyone that is looking for a quality outdoor TV reasonably priced and backed by really great customer service and support of their product. Package arrived on time and un-damaged. Picture quality is poor and is only viewable from short distances. Remote only has about a 5ft range. Connects to internet however it buffers more then not. Our regular name brand smart tv does not buffer from same location. Very few supportable apps, a Roku or fire stick is a must. Return process has been a hassle. Ups has yet to deliver to final Amazon destination after sitting in ups location for 2 days on 30 miles away.

Words don’t do this review justice. This is a must have for any outdoor entertainment. This is not just any old television. This Sylvox TV is encased with sealant and a metal frame for all weather types. Picture is definitely brighter way brighter than an inside television. Very happy with customer service when I had questions and needed support. Vendor responded quickly and hassle free. All the neighbors and envious of this television and want one.

The television I purchased was already used and apparently had been returned and we ended up with it. Every app on it had already been logged into under someone else's name. We just put it up in our new sun room and now the time has expired to return it. It's hard when you are working on a project and you find a deal and put something up until ready to use, and then find out it isn't even new. That means I don't even know how many hours are on this television. It's an awesome TV, don't get me wrong, it's just been returned at some point and is used!
