 The insoles in my Redwing Worx boot were worn really so I decided to give this one a try. I was very surprised by the quality of this insole. The arch seems to have some type of plastic embedded in it, holds the arch shape very well. As you can see in the video, my original insole is in bad shape. My boot size is 8.5 so I purchased the 8 - 8.5 size, no trimming required.

Ok folks. Lets be honest here. You can NOT expect a custom fit for 14-25 dollars, now with that said/written. I bought these for my boyfriend. He has very flat feet. Both, his podiatrist and his physical therapist have told him that he has the flattest feet they'd ever seen. He Usually wears custom orthotics but, as you may well know, THAT gets very expensive fast. He kept switching his orthotics from shoe to shoe depending on whether he was going to work, play softball or just go shopping with me. We were both skeptical about these but decided to try them. He loves them. He said theyr'e great for the price. We don't know how long they will last, but we ordered another pair just in case. My boyfriend describes them as comfortable and a big help in keeping his foot/feet pain to a minimum. I would strongly recommend these to anyone, keeping in mind however, that they are not 150-350 dollar orthotics. Hope this helps. Oh and great arch support

Took my son to a podiatrist and he explained the different inserts and what was needed for his flat feet. He explained that the ones in the stores like Walmart etc, only have a foam in the arch but what was needed was more of a hard plastic. I bought a pair at the podiatrist that cost a fortune. I found these and they are the same quality for 1/4 of the doctor's office price. They fit perfectly and son said they feel great!

I bought these in hopes that they would help me handle longer distances in walking and better workouts. I use them in my athletic shoes which I wear when I work out and also when I walk my dog every day. Also I wear athletic shoes when I know I will be going someplace where I will be doing a lot of walking without a lot of sitting. (Think amusement parks and shopping malls). I am surprised at how comfortable these insoles are. They fit my shoes perfectly. They are very comfortable to wear. I recently bought 3 more for other athletic shoes that had the original insoles or needed more support. Feet do not sweat with these. They are substantial but not heavy. They are not entirely stiff but do allow for some motion. If you have flat feet, these are worth trying! Choose your correct shoe size!!

I wear a women's size 7.5 medium, and the first pair I bought (the 7 - 7.5) was definitely too small for my Reebok walking shoes. My big toe was not only hanging over the front, but also over the side edge as well. I then bought the 8 - 8.5 and it fits perfectly! I kept the too-small pair and decided to put them into some casual shoes where it won't matter so much if they are a bit short. I also found that the larger size lined up just fine with my arches, so I think if you are a half size, and you want to put these into athletic shoes, you are better off getting the next size up. I only regret that I couldn't buy them in the grey (they were out of my size) because the color would have been a perfect match.Since I only just purchased these, I can't tell you how long they will last, but for this price, I don't care if I have to replace them a couple times a year. Also, please note that you must be able to remove your current insoles if you want to use these. You cannot simply put them on top of the existing insoles. Your feel won't fit properly in your shoes if you do.

With any reviews that have to deal with your feet, I say take it with a grain of salt, because we all feel things differently.I have an 11.5 size narrow feet with high arches. I walk hills everyday. Plus lots of hiking on the weekend.Probably like most people looking to purchase these insoles, I have plantar fasciitis.I have now purchased 3 different brands. Nazaroo, Superfeet and Tread Labs. Each has their plus and minuses. 2 out of 3 squeak because the plastic arch base is not fully glued to the insole. So the rubberized material rubs against the plastic arch base.None of them had a real "cushy" feel to them. I have flat feet, very flat feet. I've been told by my doctor that I should use orthotic inserts in any shoes that don't come with good support. I usually buy tennis shoes with good support, however, I really love to wear a certain style of flat slip on canvas shoes that just don't come with any real support so I decided to buy these inserts to see if they would feel comfortable and provide better support. The moment they arrived, I put them in my shoes and tried them on. I was so surprised to feel the difference they made. I had been concerned that adding these on top of the flat insert that came in the shoe would raise it up to the point of feeling weird but that wasn't the case. I wore them out shopping for the day and they felt awesome the entire time. I am really going to have to pick up more of these because while I can just move them from shoe to shoe, I'd rather have several pairs to just keep in them. I am super happy with these. By the way, the sizing was spot on.
