Great for Creative Younger Kids Too!
I know this kit is marketed as “DIY Journal Kit for Girls, Ages 8–14,” but I actually purchased two sets, one blue and one pink, for my 4-year-old and 5-year-old. And they absolutely loved it. They were so excited to have something that felt “big” like their older sister’s journal kit. It gave them that sense of independence and creativity, which was really sweet to watch. They immediately started decorating pages, sticking stickers everywhere, and showing off their creations. My girls are very art-oriented, and this kept them entertained for a long time. It’s one of those activities that doesn’t just get opened and forgotten; they keep going back to it to add more. Of course, younger kids will need a little supervision with small pieces, but overall it was a great purchase for us. Don’t be afraid to get this for kids younger than the suggested age if they enjoy crafts and creative play. Very happy with this buy!

The journal is a gift for an upcoming tenth birthday, and by the look of the set I expect my granddaughter to be very happy with it! It is nicely boxed so most of the contents are visible, and it’s all very cute and colorful, just as pictured. Nothing appears to be missing, from what I can tell without opening it. I have looked at many journal sets on Amazon, and this one seems to provide a good variety of items for the price, which was under $9. A fun and creative gift for a pre-teen girl.

ALL THE FUN TO BE HAD.
MY GRANDDAUGHTER LOVED THIS SET, SHE WAS VERY EXCITED WITH ALL OF THE PENS AND STICKERS. THE BOOK WAS STURDY AND MADE WELL FOR HER TO ENJOY FOR A WHILE. IT IS BRIGHT IN COLOR AND LIKE I SAID PLENTIFUL IN THE ITEMS INCLUDED. GREAT PRICE POINT AS WELL.
