MERACH Magnetic Exercise Bike, Heavy Duty Stationary Bike for Home Gym

The bike is great and as advertised, it is quiet, sturdy and easy to move. Was no damage from shipping. Assembly was easy with a couple of exceptions. First....packaging. Getting the parts out of the cardboard box is similar to the Christmas game where a $100 bill is wrapped in a big ball of saran wrap. Except, this is wrapped in tape. I probably burnt 500 calories just getting the parts removed. Second, the hardware had a couple of issues. The included allen wrench did not fit the allen screws that holds the front and back feet on. They are supposed to be a 6 mm. I had to use a 7/32. Some of the nuts/bolts had thread issues. A couple started fine but then hit a bad thread and gut hung up. Was still able to tighten though. The bike is great. Pedals smoothly. Seat is as comfortable as a bicycle seat can be. I Like the display that shows time/ distance/ calories. A it is a small footprint. It is quite sturdy. I am 6'1" and 235 pounds and I felt very stable and secure on it.

This bike was easy to set up. I do recommend having a second person help you. It takes 4 hands at times to set up and it is very heavy for one person. I don't like the pedals with the toe cages and straps on the pedals. They are too small for my feet. I replaced them with toe cages that fit my feet (see the photo). I do recommend that you keep the toe cages on the pedals. It keeps your feet in the correct position on the pedals and prevents your feet from slipping off the pedals. The seat is a bit uncomfortable unless you adjust the angle of the seat. The nose of the seat needs to come down about 3 degrees. Bring the seat as close to the handle bars to allow your pelvic bones sit on the thick cushion portion of the seat. Don't over task your body when first riding the bike. Build up stamina gradually over a period of days/weeks. The bike rides very nicely and very quietly. I am very happy with mine.

S38 - Magnetic Great exercise bike. Quieter than a whisper! So glad I chose magnetic because the last bike I had was friction, and the noise was annoying. I wish it had a cup holder on the handles though. And I wish the lowest setting was zero resistance. Also, the foot cages are cheap and don’t let an average size male foot to go half way over the petals. I took mine off and have no issues now. It would be a little better if I could get the seat a little closer or the handle bars a little closer. Very easy to put together. I like that I can easily roll it in front of my TV to use it there, then easily put it back. It is very hefty and sturdy as well. Overall I am very happy with the bike. It gets. The job done so I can bike at home anytime and can focus my gym time in the weight room.

I love this bike, it makes to so easy to want to work out. It was very easy to put together, the instructions were very clear plus it was already half done. Love the wheels on the front, as a petite woman i can move this around easily. Its SO quiet, virtually no sound I could whisper to my husband across the room and he can hear me. I feel like this bike is very sturdy, I can stand up and pedal with no worries. The seat can be a little uncomfortable but what bike seat isn't? The adjustments are very easy to do and being only 4'11 i can get it in the perfect settings for me. Love the functionality of this bike. For the price you can't beat it, I looked into so many bikes and this one checks all the boxes and is affordable.

This exercise bike was just what I wanted, and at the price, it was also a great value. It's very well built with a frame that does not flex during hard pedaling and feels really solid when riding. In operation, it's not just quiet, but absolutely silent, making it a pleasure to listen to music or a podcast. The adjustments make it easy to find a good riding position. The included monitor has large digits and provides the information I most care about, minutes, speed, and "distance", as well as an estimate of calories expended. The magnetic resistance, coupled with the 40 lb. flywheel, provides a smooth feeling of riding momentum, not too different from riding a heavy bike on a freshly paved road. When I purchased this, I was debating getting a much more expensive exercise bike with a large screen and various programs to help make exercising more entertaining. Now I find that, with the silent and smooth operation of this bike, I'm very content to listening to podcast on a subject of interest, rather than staring at a screen. I know that there is an included app that I can download to my tablet which does provide sort of a simulated road trip. I haven't tried it yet, but given the quality of the bike, I expect the app will be interesting and a useful addition. Nonetheless, I find myself very satisfied with just a podcast for company, and I will probably take that approach most of the time.

Decent bike, decent workout. Wish I could lean forward and relax arms though. Need to be able to slide arm rest back and forth. Adjusting height is no help as they claim. Update: customer service is contacting me via my PERSONAL email address. Unacceptable. And, HOW?? Although I’m not comfortable with this I have been refunded. Seller is very accommodating.

This bike was easy to setup. It's light but solid and whisper quiet. The ride is smooth, the seat is comfortable and with the Bluetooth connectivity to the recommended Kinomap App, it's easy to stay motivated for a nice home gym experience at a really great price!

I wanted to give it a couple months before giving my review. We love this bike. It’s easy to move around and the seat is comfortable, which was to my surprise. It was easy to set up and loved that it came with an app to track your workout and free spin classes. Worth every penny!
