Review: It’s a great game brings back ps1 memories - I’ve had this game on pre-order for Like a year I did not get the Deluxe Edition because I was kind of worried on the quality In In the game itself on performance But I was surprised how nicely done it was I know there’s probably gonna be a couple updates on bugs and miscellaneous stuff in time But the graphics look really good and I’m on the regular PS4 not the PS4 slim or the pro just the original PS4 I like the color customizations And the accessories and upgrade you can do I wish there was a little bit more variety but it is a demolition derby game so shits going to break off anyways LOL But the tuning and upgrading Customizations are nice you can tune prior to taking off on your race you can pause the game and adjust your suspension gear ratio blah blah blah breaking you know, like in need for speed But I enjoy the variety of vehicles and the tracks that you can race on our pretty unique quite a few tracks hopefully they’ll have some more come out soon along with maybe they can update where you can have a rain storm instead of it just being cloudy or sunny pretty much But I haven’t had an issue with the game it runs really smooth it’s very chaotic and the AI likes to play rough even on the easiest settings at times but hey it’s a demolition derby game it’s so simplistic but so enjoyable that we have been used to all this other overwhelming stuff and other games that this definitely takes you back to what it means just to play online or off-line I feel like I’m having just as much fun Off-line then if I was playing on multiplayer For the Creators of wreckfest I hate that there isn’t a two player split screen because that would be Something that would really help a lot of people that like to Couch co-op this game has a lot of potential for that but I know people can still do local lan connection system link The only issue I have and I think it’s more of a personal preference but I would like to see the Three camera angles that face the back of the car as you’re driving to see in front of you had an option to be angled a little bit higher instead of being So flush with the roof in the bumper of the car it kind of takes away from the road directly in front of you I feel like I need to be like a 10° picture just enough to peek over the roofline Hopefully more weather affects come into play Or DLC’s that come into play that are more weather related which would be different and definitely cool I think the option of building your own car would be really nice and having a variety of parts that you could do and put together you know like a build your own shit start your own project for X amount of points or you cumulate parts throughout your career during career mode just a thought I like the music but definitely wouldn’t hurt to add onto it so it’s not such a repetitive playlist definitely hyped up music for sure Hopefully down the road you’ll be able to utilize what game modes that flat out did and put some of those Or your own twist of fun crash modes into the game itself Hopefully more race tracks and arenas and hopefully more epic each DLC that comes You got a good thing going here creators at wreckfest use this game as a ladder and build because I Want to see A WREAKFEST 2.0 in the works too Now if we could get the Creators That made burnout 1&2 and burn out 3 To focus on that kind of genre in strictly that game playing that time and reAmp that we got ourselves a party 🎊 🎉 🎈 But thank you so much for making such a great game for a great price. Review: Well worth the 6 year wait! - Edited/Updated: 29-AUG-2019 A friend told me about some 'wrecking', smash em up demo derby-type game way, way back (like 5+ years ago now)... and after numerous delays and setbacks from developers, we finally have Wreckfest for the PS4! I've played the PC version (which is also great)... but there's something about playing on the big screen. Career Mode is great, and easy to navigate thru. Applying upgrades and customizing your car is very easy, intuitive... and actually FUN to do, unlike other racing games where customization is way over the top. Online Mode. Yes, not the best... I will agree here. But, I'm sure a patch will come out with changes. Otherwise, you and a friend can join a lobby at the same time while chatting via a chat party. Not terribly bad, but a larger group might have an issue with this. Just being up front. There's some great vehicles, cool tracks (and 6 new/different ones from the PC version), 3 Derby arenas (I think) and just awesome gameplay... and we just started playing 2 days ago!! The game is addicting and is a nice change of pace from getting annihilated in COD! There's a season pass (coming soon) for $22.99... which I'll be getting, and hoping for others in the future. Final thought: It's super fun, and well worth the $33.99 price tag, IMHO. There's no other game like it out there. Too bad it took this long, but I'm happy developers stuck with it. Pick this one up... I doubt you'll be disappointed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally, i thought this game would be the pits!

Ok i had this game pre ordered since last year. Then 2 months ago i canceled the pre order because the developers were not showcasing the game at all which worried me that it may not be a good port and juat a lazy cash grab release with bugs, glitches, freezes, and lower quality graphics and framerate. In the end i pre ordered again because the developera did delay it nearly a year and i wanted to take a chance and hopefully wont be let down like i was with another pc port - subnautica (buggy glitchy poor excuse of a release at launch). Ok so i played the game this evening and it is a great port. Buy it. While it doesnt have much charm in the menues (pick career, create, or multiplayer and juat race) the charm is in the actual races. It reminds me of motorstorm 1, but more chaotic. Im the few races i have completed thus far ive seen some killer mutli car wreaks, flips, and so on. Its intense and framerate was constant. Career mode appears long and with variety. I dont have ps plus i cannot comment on online races. Game music is typical rock but i turn down music... much more enjoyable hearing the sounds of screecing and glass breaking and metal twisting and denting. No other game like it which i am aware of. I am sure a game with so many debris and parts flying might be susceptible to glitches but so far it has been a clean experience. Thats how a game should be released. Definitely not regretting this purchase.
