Amazing sprayer. Well worth it.
This sprayer was a total game changer for staining my fence. I’ve never used one before and now I’m obsessed. I painted one coat on 7 panels in 30 minutes and could have been quicker if I had a larger compressor but I took breaks to build pressure back up. The hardest part of the project was refilling the the hopper just because I was pouring from a 5-gal into the smaller tank. I may do another coat but just wanted to endorse this product as it was great the whole time.

Very nice for the money
I am involved in a very large cabinet refinishing project and was hoping that the .8mm was going to work with the sealer since it isn't too thick. My goal was to use this HVLP sparingly for indoor work but it worked out so well that I a using it as my main tool for this entire job of 80 doors. Hopefully it will hold up. I have completed 40 doors so far and had two orifices get plugged but that is to be expected. There was a bit of oil in the gun so be sure to clean that first. Glad I bought this.

Lots of spitting
I used to paint show cars and have several HVLP guns in the $300+ range but none with a 1.8mm tip which I needed for spraying Cabinet Coat, so I bought this. For under $40, it's a steal if it works for you. Unfortunately the spray pattern I'm seeing is not smooth and it's spitting heavily. Reducing the fan width improves it slightly, increasing the air volume to the max setting also helps, but the only way to get rid of it is by bringing my air pressure up to about 70psi with the trigger pulled which is WAY over the recommended rating of 20psi for this material. With that much air pressure I'm still getting a finish that is not much better than a roller and requires sanding and refinishing with another gun. When switching to my 1.5mm high-end gun, the finish is smooth like butter but I can't get the volume I need with that tip painting cabinets and I have to thin the material a touch beyond the specs. I'm meticulous with cleaning my guns and have taken this apart to see what's wrong with it but nothing is standing out. Seems well built and the trigger operates smoothly but the spitting is just beyond anything I've ever seen in any HVLP gun. Thankfully Cabinet Coat is forgiving as it flattens very well such that your average Joe won't notice the "rolled" finish... but as a former car painter, I might as well have picked up my roller and saved a lot of time and hassle on my last job. I'd have given this 1 star if not for the price. You get what you pay for and for the money paid, I should not complain.

Depends..
It is not the best performance. It depends on what it is used for, for me it was excellent, since it was used for synthetic primer coats on MDF. For uses like this it gives excellent results.
