I purchased this knife set to replace a bunch of old kitchen knives. I thought they would be more substantial. Attractive knife set, fits the hand well, blades are thin and extremely sharp. Surprisingly the built in knife sharpener works. Very easy to bring blade sharpness as needed.

I didn’t look closely enough before purchasing, but there is a knife sharpener right on the butcher’s block!! What a great surprise! These knives came in beautiful packaging and it was very easy to unbox and put everything in its place. There’s are high quality knives that cut through a watermelon like it was butter. I love the color of the handles, as well at the stainless steel blades. They look incredibly sleek and I have gotten a lot of compliments on this set. I would definitely recommend purchasing these knives.

Good for the price but wash the block first
The knives are good and sharp, handles seem to be good too. The only issue is the block, it's made out of treated wood and it smells chemicals, I washed it and there were a lot of manufacturing residues, the inside is not painted so the knives as long as they're sitting in the block, they will be exposed to the treated wood chemicals.
