Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother Musical Crib Toy and Sound Machine, Newborn and up

After several months of use, this has easily become one of our most used baby items. I originally bought the Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother for our mini crib, but it didn’t fit the arched frame. Instead of returning it, we started using it in other ways - and it ended up being even more useful than I expected. Best Uses (From Our Experience) 🚗 Car rides This is where the soother truly shines. My baby is completely captivated by the lights and moving fish and almost always falls asleep watching it. The detachable remote is a huge feature - I keep it in the front seat so I can turn it on without reaching into the back. 🧸 Pack ‘n Play playtime We also use it during playtime while she’s on her play mat inside the pack ‘n play. When placed behind her head in the corner, it actually motivated her to start rolling from back to tummy so she could see it better. Pros • Very engaging lights, movement, and music for babies • Detachable remote is incredibly convenient (especially for car use) • Great for both entertainment and soothing babies to sleep • Multiple ways to use it outside of the crib • Helpful flashing red light warning when batteries are running low Cons / Product Suggestion My biggest suggestion would be adding the option for both battery power AND a plug-in outlet option. With frequent use it can go through batteries fairly quickly, so being able to plug it in when using it near an outlet would make this product absolutely perfect. Final Thoughts Even though it didn’t end up working on our mini crib, we still use it almost daily. If you’re looking for something that keeps baby entertained and helps them fall asleep (especially during car rides), this is definitely worth it.

Captivating high quality toy! My 4 month old was immediately enthralled by this toy. The music is soothing and the motion and lights of the aquarium scene really captivates his attention. I love the music in all the baby Einstein toys as it's more instrumental and classical style and not annoying songs that get stuck in your head ha. Highly recommend this!

This Sea Dreams Soother has been an absolute lifesaver in our household! We incorporated it into our daily routine, and it works like magic to help calm our baby down immediately after bath time and right before bed. When she was younger, she would just drift off to it, but now that she is a bit older, she is completely captivated by watching the moving characters and lights. She loves it so much that she even tries to climb up to get a closer look at it! It holds her attention beautifully and transitions her into a peaceful, sleepy mood without any fuss. If you are struggling with a fussy bedtime routine or just need something reliable to soothe your little one, this is worth every single penny. It has made our nights so much easier!

This thing is magical. I got it when my baby was around 3 months old, when she was crying and screaming at bedtime. As soon as I turned to music on, she listened and calmed down. Now at 6 months old, we turn the music on at bedtime and she knows it’s time to sleep. It helps soothe her and fall asleep on her own. We used the lights a little bit in the beginning, and she did find it interesting, but we now mostly just use it for the music. Some downsides: when you attach it to the crib railing and the back of the aquarium is against the crib railing, it kind of blocks the speaker/makes a buzzing noise. Because of that, we don’t attach it to the crib but we just have the machine nearby on a chair (since we only use it for the music anyway, and she doesn’t really need to look at it). Our batteries lasted about 2.5 months, so I’m looking into getting some rechargeable batteries. Overall, this was one of my best baby purchases and we use it daily.

As the light and music are going, it slowly tapers off to quieter and darker. I wish there was an option to only have the slightly quieter and darker music since we only use this at bedtime. Even on the lowest volume setting, it is really loud which is not ideal for getting a toddler to sleep. I purchased this item July 1 and today (August 1) the batteries are already dead and I am needing to replace them. I feel like I could have found a more cost effective alternative than this particular item for what we are primarily using this for. This is a very cute and fun musical toy, but having to replace the batteries monthly and not having better control over the volume would make this something I would not purchase again.

This is engaging and keeps a baby's attention. They enjoy the lights, motion and sound. I keep finding more Baby Einstein toys that are great for babies and kids. Highly recommend

Baby loves it and is hypnotized by it, but sadly can’t interact or do anything other than watch and listen. Still great to calm her down and for entertainment.

I love this. My baby loves this. I use it maybe 10 minutes a day in increments just to help me get stuff done and it’s truly amazing. I don’t use the crib attachment so I can’t speak to that. It does eat through batteries somewhat quickly, but it’s worth it. It is a little heavy and kind of front heavy so it is easily knocked over, so keep that in mind. I like that is has a timer but I wish it was optional. My baby loves the ocean lights that project onto the surface around it but those are the first to turn off. The songs are nice, and not overwhelming. I love that you can switch between the options of music/no music, or ocean sounds.

Worthwhile purchase, baby interested from around 3 months. Very calm, lovely, not overstimulating, helps relax baby, encourages tummy time engagement and / or helps sleep as needed. The aquarium is a little clunky, has fallen a few times - didn’t break, so it’s durable. You can either use the relaxing aquarium lights or a setting with no lights, music can be on or off too. Really worthwhile purchase - I considered packing it for holidays too, but unfortunately it’s pretty bulky!

My baby has hard time falling asleep sleep. I need to cuddle and rocked him to fall a sleep. Now I just turn it on for couple of minutes then he falls asleep! I hope he doesn’t get tired of it and continues to love it. Unfortunately, It requires batteries cannot be changed.

Prodotto veramente molto bello e funzionale. Ottimo per conciliare il sonno. Colore, movimento e sottofondo del mare fanno si che il sonno arrivi ed il bimbo sia rilassato. Esteticamente molto ben fatto e pratico da utilizzare..l'aggancio posteriore fa si che resti ben fermo alla culla. Il mio piccolo di soli 3 mesi l'ha subito adorato. Arrivo nei tempi previsti e soprattutto molto ben imballato lo consiglio vivamente e penso di riacquistarlo per regalarlo al mio nipotino ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

No entiendo las malas reseñas respecto a las pilas. Estamos en marzo y llevamos con las mismas pilas desde el 6 de enero, y lo usa a diario un ratito antes de dormir. Solo tengo palabras buenas hacia este invento. Música clásica con volumen ajustable, modo oscuro, se apaga solo al cabo del ratito, y por supuesto es súper relajante. Muy recomendable, a mi bebé le encanta.
