How long are these expected to last?

Not flimsy at all!  The fabric is quite slippery (low friction) as befitting a liner sock so used as a liner, it should last quiet a while.  I've had mine for years - but I only use them weekends and winter when heavier footwear is required.

Is there a warranty on these?  After two years, I have a pair that has two huge runs in them

Mine never last 2 years!!  I hike many miles in them and they usually last about 9 months or so - about 250 miles - I'm willing to sacrifice the liners to prevent blisters.  Fox may make some thicker liners but I prefer these.  Oh, and keep those toenils trimmed back!

I wear a size 5.5-6 and I purchased the small, it fit me like a glove.  So the small might be a tiny bit small for you.  But if you like a snug fit, then I think it should be fine on you.  I wore mine under other socks while hiking at Manchu Piccuh.  Hope this helps :)

How often will I have to wash my thick outer socks if I use these liners and wash them every day?

I only wash mine if they're wet or dirty. I hike  4-5 days/week - 5-7 miles a day. I do wash them every couple of weeks to fluff the fibers. It might be different hiking long mileage and days.
